Ya, my 2001 Toyota Corolla w/manual transmission gets anywhere from 40-43 on the highway and probably 35ish in the city. It's rad.

i just sent it to Japan Motors (garage in quebec) and he changed my engine for a b16a2, straight from japan.... 50hp more than my stock one haha and costed 3500$ CAN, cause he had to change basically everything, like transmission.... My MPG will certainly go lower but it will be pretty fast.
 
who said its not chipped.....its sleeping right now because i used to speed alot and lost my licence 3 times, so now i take it easy.
 
like 800 somethin, its still not done and im selling my sti and evo if anyone wants to buy either one haha. sti - 20 grand evo - 35 grand :)

gonna grab like a mercedes g500, range rover hse, rs6 somethin sick i dunno gotta lower my insurance haha

so i was thinking there should be a thread for this, cause you can't really tell a cars actual MPG, just what the manufacturer says, AND, its hard to tell what an older cars MPG is, you can really only find accurate info on new ones.

anyway:

4runner, Toyota, 1989, 193,000, about 16MPG in city, quite a bit higher on the freeway.

1987 Volvo GLE stationwagon.

Has about 290k on it.

around 70 horsepower or something.

Gets around 20mpg because I drive very uneconomically in it lol.

Pretty much need to retire it off for my brother, so it can join the 300k club.
