Back when beamers were quality. My mom has an 01 330xi and it's in the shop atleast every other month. They're a bitch to fix and no one around here has the skill to.

shit idk how many mpg

16 gallons ish to a tank. 350 or so miles per tank. whatever that is. 20-25 mpg. thats city though idk if i was on the highway alot what it would be.

how do you like it? i heard its compable to lancer evos and wrx's, just reallyy underrated.

you're thinking of the mazdaspeed 3, which is an insane car. i test drove it and i would seriously rank it above a wrx in every aspect. sooo fast, the dude that let me test drive it was just like as far as i'm concerned...you drove the speed limit everywhere so i pretty much got to really see what she could do. too bad my parents wouldn't let me get it haha.

mine is the mazda 3 sport, and personally i still think it's really nice. still actually a pretty quick car with good handling and a nice look. interior is very nice on it as well. i am going to get a new grille seeing as i don't really like it too much but that's about the only setback. not so much comparable to the wrx or evo but i'd say about a step lower.

i will bet this pains you to no end drew...

but my dad drives a chevy avalanche with a 5.3 V8, and he doesnt use that truck anything like what it was designed for.. muaha

but really, the only thing we use it for is if i dont feel like putting kayaks on my roof rack, i "transform it" and then throw 2 kayaks in the back...... and you know what? it works damn well when it is pitch black out, and i dont feel like strapping down the kayaks, (like last night when i didnt get off the river until 845Pm :)

and beside the occasional road trip that we would take that over my moms minivan.. he drives that puppy back and forth to the airport for work... totally wasting gas ;)

but due to the nature of his schedual, he only drives to work 3 times a week.

i cant recommend the investment of a Thule roof rack enough, greatest thing ever designed....

i dropped a shit load of money to set myself up, but its worth it, the only hard part is, i have a hard time getting 2 kayaks on there at once.

WRONG! If you haven't noticed from all my blabbering...I live on a farm.

here is a photo of what he has (but not his)

its his baby haha

o, his has a bug shield, and a roof rack on it...

yeah, aspen, flying airplanes doesnt really help to produce a small carbon foot print... haha

whoa, nice ride....

what year is it?

i would still check out a thule, even with the sun roof... its hard to tell from the pic, but you might be able to have the cross bars far enough away from the opening of the sun roof, that you would still be able to stick your head out of the top... (slide the front bars as far forward as possible, and back ones away from the window)

This is also inherited from my brother and is currently not road legal. It was crashed and salvage titled, he was working on an r-title for a while but passed away. Now we're in for a shit fest of paperwork to get this thing legal, any ideas would be appreciated.
