Post your BMI

easiest way is body fat calipers which basically pinch the amount of fat on a part of the body and will give you a much more accurate BMI.

think of a body builder that weighs 225 lbs and is 5'8". using only a height and weight method he would probably be considered obese, however he may only have 4% body fat or whatever it is.

bmi is so much bullshit. I'm 6'2 190 and it says I'm almost overweight. I literary don't have an ounce of fat on my body.

hmmm it cut off the first part of my first paragraph...weird.

anyways i don't wanna type it all out again but in short, you need to take into account height, weight, body fat %, age, gender, waist size etc. to get a more accurate reading.

mine is 20. im 5'9f and 60.5k

BMI = Body mass index, not overall athletic ability including fat percentage and metabolism etc.

its an easy scale for an average application like this one. dont take it too seriously, everyone is different.

You've got to factor in your body fat percentage as well. It's great if you have a low body fat percentage with a high BMI, not so much if you have a high body fat percentage.

its the end of summer and the beginning of the school year. what do you think?
