Post your backyard setups

looks pretty dope OP. I bet you get a good amount of speed out of that. A lot of people build they're drop ins kind of short imo. That think probably gives you almost too much speed in the winter. And too much isn't really a problem.

Yeah I didn't really realize how much speed I'd get until I first tried it lol

If you use it in the summer and the transition is too tight you can build one out the same way you build a small jump. Plywood sides cut to your curve and then 2x4s across and plywood on it. And it'll soften the blow of hitting the bottom and keep your speed solid.

I miss backyard setups. If I lived with other people who rode regularly I'd probably build one.

How many times are your skis going to blow off before you tighten your dinner up a bit?

I never did learn, but all of my ligaments are intact after 4 years of that thing

Our park was a 2 min walk from my room the last 2 summers. That's as close to backyard shredding Ive gotten in the last 10+ years. Well not including friends setups.

How long and wide is that first tube youre using? And where did you get it? Im tryna get a similar tube for my summer setup but I'm not finding anything with the right dimensions

I just went to Lowes and picked be biggest tube they had. If I recall it was 6 inches across and 12 feet long. It wasn’t expensive. Anything over 6 inches across can get pretty expensive. A lot of people steal huge ones from construction sites

Drop in out a tree house and a 16 foot tube. Also had a 12 foot tube laying around somewhere.

Not in my backyard but in the local park where I bring the pup. Fun little picnic table QP.

made this in my high school metals class a few years back, two 10 ft sections that can pivot or disconnect where they meet so you can hit it in these configurations:

| \ /

| | |

pretty versatile rail but you need a lot of speed to hit both sections together as I obviously didn't with that set up. trying to take it to a steep hill soon cause it's a super fun rail when you have the speed.
