Looking at this thread made me realize my art is inferior, i need practice. I might post some watercolor stuff i'm working on if I get around to it, but props to everyone for some sick art!

those are great shots man! i have a darkroom at my school i should utilize more often, took 2 photo classes that were unfortunately complete jokes and we hardly even used it.

i'm going to have a treat for you guys this upcoming fall, taking an advanced study class and im going to have two full semesters to study artists who i want to study and work on things based off of their ideas AND work in a space provided by the school. gahhhh this fall/winter/spring is going to be amazing.

Just started an art account on instagram, follow pown_all if you're interested. mostly hand letting type stuff.

this is super rad, but if i were to critique you on anything it would be to take away the black outline, I think the white one would look cool by itself without the black since the piece is mainly lighter hues; I feel the black kind of takes your eye away from the piece because it is so much bolder and contrasting. I also really like the background color for some reason, to me it's a little silly (not in a bad way) but it totally works!

Yeah, I agree, it works better with just white outlines! Thanks!

And the background color is the complimentary color to the red-ish color in the heart, so I guess thats why it works

thanks! I wanna do something similar on a goose egg. the chicken eggs are fun and easy to acquire but they're too small sometimes
