Not really sure if this is something anyone on NS would be interested in, but oh what the hell. I started working a comic not too long ago, and I've been getting really good feedback on the storyboards, which is exciting. It inspired me to start on the cover, this is a portion of the inks for it (Title and background are missing)

Thats sick! Iv'e always been impressed with how much work it takes to produce comics. I'd love to see what else you have.

^that hand, the first one, is really awesome to me. the other two look nice but im not intrigued like with the hand, good job your gf!

^^ That hand is very interesting, the amount of detail and rendering style is awesome. I would love to see more of her anatomical work. She seems like she would be interested in scientific illustration.

Baker gap? Idk I've never been to baker but I feel like I remember the baker gap from photos

You're right that it's Baker, but I meant more what the photo that inspired my drawing is known for.

So I'm trying to do this low poly portrait of Jossi, and I just cant go any further right now. Trying to generate convincing polygons for pretty the super subtle shading in the black areas is really rough, and trying to do the hair is even tougher. I'm getting kinda frustrated actually, and if anyone has a critique, and any words of advice, I could use the outside perspective.

it could use some detail in the beard. Right now it's just a black blob, some more subtle plane shifts in that region would be helpful, kind of like what you did with the moustache.

First time painting with watercolors since kindergarden.(Shitty light fooled the camera, the paper doesn't actually have that hue)

Critiques?

i changed the second last line to a poem i wrote a while back and i like it so much better now

12-2

Winter's cold came far too quick,

It cuts in much too deep.

The snow blows in, it falls too thick

Its weight strays into sleep.

The freezing air, the misted breath,

The hands that tremble so.

Your warmth shall herald Winter's death,

And bury him below.

The wind, it howls, the snow comes thicker,

The birds, they hide in shame.

But still I wait and feel no flicker

From candle or from flame.

The nights draw in, their darkness lingers

Far into the day,

And creeping closer, twisted fingers

Tear at things to say.

Things once said and once confessed,

They're nothing now.

Just sounds.

Just breath.

The cold grows worse ("it's for the best")

And staves off Winter's death.
