POST YOUR ARTWORK HERE!!!

that owl is sick. I'd say either light up the face or darken his underside though. The lighting is just a tad off there but everything else, especially the feather patterns, I dig.

slight diffrence, with a pattern in the otherwise blank part of the wings. i don't know though.

IMO, the change in the face is definitely cool but the previous wings were better. The new pattern is just too digital for me...

I just got illustrator today actually and look forward to making drawings like this. May I ask your process on this one?

Fraud!!!!

Haha no, shorty deserves creds for this one, I only changed the face and cleaned it up a bit.

Or digitalized it as you put it... :(

Would anyone in this thread being interested in doing some paid design work? I'm on the uosnow team and we need a new logo. Something that says uo snow anyone interested can pm me

I've reached a stopping point on this piece. I know I can be better, but I'm not sure how to get it there. Any advice?

the forehead looks a bit flat, like it just kinda slopes backwards from his eyebrows. maybe work on the shadows a bit. i was gonna tell you to check my post on page 36 about that type of painting, but it was you that i posted it to haha

honestly had no idea who the artist was^

found a random picture on tumblr and thought it looked dope, used it as inspiration

hmmm, if i could change something i'd make the line you drew closest to your signature parallel with the hood of the car.

Taking Drawing II this semester, I have always been complaining about the lack of creativity in my basic art classes and now that I have creativity I was really struggling to find what I wanted to draw. Drawing isn't one of my greatest skill-sets, but I am trying at least.

This project is supposed to be somewhat of a "self portrait" but not necessarily a picture of me, more has to tell something about me.

Current spot, did I mention it has to be on a big piece of paper? That is what I am struggling with the most, I try so hard to keep to the exact details of the camera, but it's hard when blown up so big. hopefully this will be a learning experience

This was my first attempt ever at geometric portraits, so i didn't take it as serious as i would have if it were something i knew would turn out great, which is why it's low res and some of the edges are kind of rough but i'm still pretty happy with the outcome, i'll definitely be doing more of these.692054.jpeg

Haha you would not believe how many times I get asked that question. Chuck's a great guy, and a great park manager, but we're not related!

My name is Jake and I like to do drawings694431.jpeg

Criticism is very much appreciated as this was my first real drawing where I wasn't being told directly what to do (like value scales, shading, etc). There are definitely spots I could have spent more time on like all of the circular shapes, but overall I am very happy with the result. It is 24"x18" and is all pencil except for the eye and the color details which are oil pastel. I was really trying to get the background a nice smooth shade, but after my 2H pencil broke, I said "fuck it" and ended up liking how the fade is kind of messy.

Looks good! I like it overall. I'm not too sure about the dark background, you definitely could have gotten away with just a shadow, but still looks nice. Its just minor things, but some of the controls arent perfect on their perspective, and it looks like the eye is a little off in perspective too. Not even bad though. I dig it!

Super Sketchy Yvon wants you to drop $600 on a powslayer jacket.

I dunno. I kinda like the rough style. It has more personality, and it's such a challenge to convey likeness with rough detail.

Also here's a progress shot of a painting that I'm working on. Shading needs to come along a little more. painting mountains... hard stuff..

Krob: Everything was done in cinema 4d. It's an amazing program, very popular in the motion media community. Super easy to use too, that mech was the first time I've ever modelled anything. I downloaded some cool HDRi environments and lighting kits for the render too.

even more impressive knowing it's your first model. i used to mess around with Blender and 3dsmax a lot in hs and never made anything that detailed haha
