not a bad first attempt. the way i learned to draw humans and mostly everything else was that i started out with platonic forms(box's, cylinders, balls, cones, mobius strips, etc)i drew them in perspective, and how light reflects of of them through rendering because basically everything we draw you can imply those platonic form in them. It took an entire season to learn but it made me a hell of drawer. hands and feet are hard as shit, props for goin for em.

word, thanks homie. i'm signed up for a figure class next semester and i'm trying to get a head start so i can really grow when i have a teacher. i appreciate the feedback

no problem man, im in a figure drawing sprint class right now. going really fast, 6 weeks, 3 days a week, 5 hours a day. so fun. we're on our 5th week.

Thanks, getting the correct esthetically pleasing crumb pattern took a really long time.

@Schimmel, there are plenty of animals remaining and I like the ones you have done so far so betetr continue with them.

Downloaded Inkscape the other day and I've been messing around learning how to use it. This took me way longer than it should have:

And this is a drawing I did for Calc after the AP test. Had to put a few scans together so there's some funky looking spots, but whatever

copied from tumblr:

"A couple weeks ago i had a dream in which i drew this exact cartoon

(probably why it doesn’t make much sense) and yesterday i got round to

actually drawing it. I don’t know why i dreamt it this way, but the dog

seems to be selling his “lucky" clovers because they’re useless to him.

He looks like Brian Griffin because that’s how he was in the dream

(I’ve watched a lot of family guy recently) which i guess was a good

thing because he’s so easy to draw and he’s easy to give expression to.

The actual dog isn’t meant to be Brian though, just some

down-on-his-luck dog who bears a striking resemblance to him.

I can’t decide if its actually funny or cute or sad or anything at

all really but im happy with it nonetheless because it was so

spontaneous, it literally came to me with no effort.

Whatever, my mind is weird."

Very, very nice.

I don't know if I said it before but I love your style. And especially those dystopian futuristic cityscapes.

p.s. Thanks, and btw it's actually a Nespresso Lungo, so much crema. ;)

this is so incredibly awesome. love the surreal kinda feel to it.

this is all I have handy right now. I'm not super good, but I like doing quick stuff that captures what I'm seeing with my perception of it. I also try to include things that document my experiences.

ended up coloring it in photoshop afterwards cause I've never really done that before. kinda fun and adds a bit to it...not that good at using color on paper yet, though I did a watercolor a while ago that I like so I'm trying to do more of that.

@Spliff, you have a pretty unique visual style, so curvy.

@bigbrom, that has a nice sort of quick and dirty look. : )

Something I just made this morning:

^

Strongly reminds me of level of Mechassualt. : )

I successfully drew up a hand, instead of a weird tumorous blob with various appendages, my life is complete i can die in peace.

Murals I did with spray paint and acrylic for the Vail skatepark. The first one was rejected because the board thought the worms and mountains looked like cocks. So I had to make another.

started drawing a skull last night using an image i found on google to draw from since i've never successfully drawn one and need somewhere to start. sorry for the shitty instagram pic btw, its way more contrasty than the actual drawing is

You need a bigger piece of paper. ;)

Also as a guideline for drawing skulls (and other bits of human anatomy) I advice the drawing's from Henry Vandyke Carter for Gray's Anatomy which can be found on the web quite easily.

haha yeah i started drawing it before i realised i should have done it smaller. the sketchbook is only like 6"x6", but it's nearly full so i'll invest in a bigger one later. i'll check him out, thats what i've been looking for recently

After Knee surgery I've had some time on my hands and decided to try painting. I painted a shelf in a Eric Pollard style. It is not the best, but it's my first time painting in a while.
