POST YOUR ARTWORK HERE!!!

I had the itch to draw after being artistically inactive for about a year and a half, so I picked up a sketchbook and art supplies and got right to it.

I personally think this is the best drawn here I've done to date, and also the first time I've seriously used charcoal outside of school art project for shading. But of course I don't think it's totally perfect, drawing the, um, butt was a little tricky, my friend told me that it looked a little lopsided. a foot from that perspective was also a tough one, feet and hands really trip me up. practice is practice though, and I aim to get better.

That's what I get for trying to make a big butt haha! I mistyped in my original post, I'm happy with how I did the hair, not here. I really need to work on my body proportions, it's a challenging thing for me along with hands and feet; but I think I can draw faces pretty well.

Would you, or anybody really, be able to show me some way to learn body proportions? I really wanna get better so when I draw people it just looks better.

umm, i'm sure there's somewhere on the internet, personally i have never drawn a nude body but i hear they are extremely hard. hands and feet are also very difficult. i'm going to be a freshman at art school next year so i'll be learning how to proportion bodes and whatnot. try gridding your piece out and that will help your proportions

quoting for emphasis, this shit is crazy! and im to lazy to put photos on here so someone should do it, +K for the one who does.

not really art, but this thread needed a bump.

prototype of a molded plywood chair i've been working on.

was super rushed for time so the craftsmanship is absolute shit, but the design idea is there.
