New to the forum. Can someone please explain how to upload photos? I keep clicking on the insert Media button but it isn't bringing anything up.

Use an outside site to upload your photo, like photobucket.com or flickr. From there you can place the picture image location between image tags. So it would look like this:

You can use the preview button before posting to see that you did it right. Or you can upload to NS. Click on "pictures" on the top forum tab and on the right hand side is 'upload photo'. After you upload you can right click and grab the picture location and place in image tags like above. If you upload to NS, please be sure to categorize correctly.

^Thanks man.. Took a look at your site. Photos look good.. For the retina shots did you use just a macro lens? Pretty cool idea and haven't seen anyone else do it before.

no, more like Sports Illustrated Women of Nintendo Swimsuit edition.

It doesn't qualify as hentai if they're not engaged in a sexual activity, and none of them are. It really irritates me when people assume that just because they see Princess Peach is in a skimpy swimsuit that it must be porn. It isn't. I was merely showing this because I thought it was excellently digitally drawn despite the somewhat mature content.

Again, I wish no insult on you, just your words.

If you wanna grab a shot like this you need a long exposure.. You can get a photo like this if you set your camera on bulb. On Nikon's to get to the bulb setting your camera must be set to manual and move your shutter switch all the way to the left until it says bulb.

You can layer photos in photoshop to get this effect or you can take one long exposure.. If you don't want your sky or trees in the photo to look like they were unreal you could take multiple short but long exposures. Example would be to take multiple 30sec exposures. Your camera should be on a tripod and you should be using a off camera shutter switch. You can do one long exposure or a multiple number of long exposures like the guy about more than likely did. These exposures can last anywhere from 5-15 maybe even a half hour if you in the middle of no where and cannot see any light pollution in the sky.

Not the best photo of a lighting storm but you can get some really cool lighting storm shots by using the bulb technique.. What I do is open the shutter and wait till the lightning strikes then close the shutter.. This is the kind of photo you would be layering in photoshop.. You can get this photo in one shot but you risk your sky getting way blown out and not being able to see the lighting bolts any more.

lol i am very famiiar about shutterspeed and usimg "bulb", but i was wondering if you used an ND filter or just a bare lens
