NS meet up?

Let’s do it

We should all just find a summer abay day to have a ns meetup and party lap. I’m usually lapping with [tag=283321]@Farmville420[/tag] late season and I know [tag=262770]@ReturnToMonkey[/tag] sometimes will pop out to abay over the summer. [tag=273152]@BradFiAusNzCoCa[/tag] has spotted me a few times as well and nick lyons can usually be found at abay.

^ I might be in co in June to raft, but I'll be flying not driving, so no ski gear unfortunately. Depending on timing I might be down to meet up at the base for a little on the way to Salida

I want to hit a bay this summer. Someone need to hit me with a buddy ticket though

Been wanting to slowly start building out a tour setup for cheap and just scored kingpin 13s for $150 from a homie at the shop

Great binding to dip your toes into backcountry and ya got a great price. I have a pair of kingpins (on Candide 3.0) and bought a pair of ATK's when I got more serious about touring. I think the kingpins ski better downhill...

Definitely very entry level rn. Been spending time in Bozeman with a friend who’s a bridger local so doing a lot of out of bounds hiking. Want to take that next step further and really get into the back country. Might have a full setup by later next year and could do my first try at it

I edited to a lot of Midwest emo this season lol it’s fun

Save the time and headache and go cast.

I'm done buying Pivots but I have one last pair I haven't mounted that I want to put on a pair of touring layup Woodsmen with the new Cast system

One of the ski academies in Maine has a ski patrol program and that's gotta be the most absurd waste of money. Average tuition is 80k a year. Imagine paying 320k for highschool just to graduate without any real level of certification because you're not old enough yet.

It's just nice having a variety. Rap has gotten very stale in edits in my opinion.

naw mrg was actually crazy today I traversed so far left of octo I didn't even think I would ever go over there, skied some sick powder. edit imminent

Anyone at sugarloaf today or tomorrow wanna take some runs? I got a 1996 US olympic jacket and some on3ps on my feet, say hello

Well think that’s all she wrote for my season this year, barring any summer stuff. Midwest is all about wrapped up except boyne, and I’m sitting on 97 days. Maybe woodword copper hike park in June to get me to 100

It’s annoying when someone brings a boot bag. They’re bulky and weird to fit in the car, then they don’t put their boots back in them because they’re wet after skiing. So now there’s even less space going back down the mountain.

It's nice to have when you have a 30 rack

Secretly fuck you to everyone who gets to ski Poma Chair and the Cirque today after it's been closed since Friday, but I'm also sure there is some crazy ass boiler plate snow underneath and crazy wind slabs. Shit was kinda bunk yesterday, it felt like skiing on carpet

Devoted a whole day to park today. Haven’t done that in years. Got 2 on again. Also, haven’t done that in years. Still got some tricks in my bag at 32.

I’m other news, I forgot how tiring just skiing park lap after lap is. At the end of the day, I hit this flat up tube that basically shoots you up 5-10 feet depending on speed and where you land. Greased it but shifted weight forward too early and caught an edge at every end. Basically dropped 10 feet down trying to get my legs under me lol

Hell yeah, stoked for you dude. I'll go rip some mogul lines and do some hiking for cliffs and not feel too tired then go finish with some park laps and can't even get to the end of the park without stopping to catch my breath lol

One thing that always pisses me off is I can never ski park back to back days, tried it this weekend and could barely ski normal down the hill shins hurt for no reason.

Hell yea, it's cuz the mental strain more than anything imo. It's exhausting being scared all day

on sunday i was hella exploring mrg, and i took some path off to my left. it was clearly a glade, and no one had been in it. all fresh. if not overshadowed by the fact that the snow was pretty heavy and i also had no idea where i was, highly cliffy dangerous area and possibility of going off the backside was real, it would have been the best run of my life probs. but the next time i go there it'll be fire for reals.

also my ski randomly came off above a sick chute which fucking sucks but kewl picture

Damn. Weather has been kind of shitty up there lately too so I wonder if snow quality played any role. Freeze/thaw and the occasional dusting of fresh snow that turns into paste by the afternoon.

Rest easy dude.

Took a couple laps with a homie of Dallas LeBeau's at big sky today. He was so bummed out and it was really sad to hear about the accident. He said everyone should do backflips for Dallas this week.

Read a comment from a passerby who saw his homie performing CPR on him, I can't imagine what would be going through your mind as that friend. That would be scary af. SIP Dallas.

I have never skied Bretton Woods because it always seemed flat and expensive but I can't argue with a $17.76 lift ticket on Monday while I'm in the White Mountains anyway.

they used to have a thing where (I think patriots day) you could bring in a can of food and get a free ticket? I was young though. It must have been free because we stopped doing it when it was like can of food + slightly discounted ticket lmao.

anyways that mountain was super sick for my 8 and 9 year old self, I wonder how I'd like it today. definetly want to go back sometime.
