14582963:SteezyYeeter said:yeah i heard comps out west filled up insanely fast, within minutes of going live. at least for ifsa. a lot less athletes on the east coast though, especially for regional (now two star?) comps.

Only bad thing about Loveland is how slow they seemed to open compared to others. Lift 4 and 8 just opened which seems pretty hype.

Dude Loveland has been painfully slow to open chairs this year. I think that’s every year though, if I think back on it. Chair 4 just opened early last year. Chair 9 is mostly windpacked crust unless you get lucky or want to hike. It’s dead last to open.
You gotta ride the ridge cat they have that dumps you over chair 8. Chair 4 and 8 can be great on a powder day but the problem is chair 8 is serviced by chair 4. Chair 4 is way windier than 8 so if 4 goes on hold, so does 8.

14583080:profa_212 said:This is exactly how it was when I was competing as well. Usually the targhee stop. Our team would struggle to get a couple skiers and 1 or 2 boarders. Meanwhile CU boulder has 40 people that are conveniently able to get in.

someone has already bought the win in any closed competition....
