My kysen hall pants just arrived. Seriously one of the best purchases I've ever made. Very highly recommend since they're incredible quality for the price. They were 140 in the presale but for 168 they're still a steal.

Steamboat was ridiculous today. Thought it’d be pretty tracked out after how crowded it looked yesterday so didn’t even bring the pow skis out, but was getting knee deep pow and face shots all over the mountain all day. New mahogany ridge terrain has some real nice trees as well.

I don’t mind the hardpack, but it felt so good hitting soft snow all weekend

I always count 1 foot landings as long as you manage to stop lol

Think I’m done drinking beers skiing (maybe once in a blue moon). Sober skiing > drinking while skiing. Can ski much longer and I’m way more present. Never was a “must have” but I’ve made an effort to not drink while skiing lately and I’ve found I enjoy skiing so much more.

I always ski mega sober and without headphones, being locked in feels so much better IMO, also feel like I fall less which is good

Yeah man I’ve been dropping the music lately and I feel like that’s also helping me to be more present

drinking and skiing kinda sucks unless your just cruising groomers.

While were at it, it is pretty crazy how accepted drunk skiing is and especially how those people all drive back home after.

Snowbird going to Alta's rez system would be great. But it would be even better to get off the ikon pass entirely

Yesterday was all the ikon shitters flocking to LCC to ski powder. I fucking hate that even with a snowbird pass, i have to leave SLC before 7 to get a shot at parking

Snowbird needs full parking reservations. 90% of the traffic yesterday cleared up after driving past.

Yeah this weekend surprised for sure, vail got like a foot, found some stashes and was the perfect crud in spots too, chair 4 cliffs were tracked out but other areas just had pillow landings.

I do agree with the driving home part. I have always made sure I had a 2 drink limit so I could drive but the amount of hammered people starting their cars in resort parking lots is horrifying.

DUI checkpoints leaving resorts would get so many people.

I’ve been wearing boot's that are 2 sizes too big for probably 4 seasons now. Always knew they didn’t fit right but never really admitted it to myself that the boot fitter I went to could have been that off on my foot size. But yeah they fucking suck

I was thinking about how mad I’d be if I had to deal with the free for all to snowbird with a season pass. Alta off the base and with reservations meant no lines most of the morning. I wish all resorts would go off ikon and do a season pass with a few days at other local resorts, but that will never happen.

been working hella hours for a kid in school and rowing worked 24hrs last week. Pay Checks been hitting and i’ve been putting most straight into my savings. Can’t wait to have cash to get a touring setup for college along with ski/go out once i’m in

Just don’t be one of those kids who gets in and then does something colossally stupid that causes the college to rescind their offer of admittance.

Anyone have a good example of a switch tail butter 4 on? One where they actually press the tails. I want to try one but don’t have a good reference

Super stoked on how many girls are into skiing park nowadays. Might just be more media exposure but it seems like there are more than ever

Just bit the bullet and bought zip fits. We shall see if they will give me heel lock. But they feel very good so far

snowbird is the sink of LCC. Free for all parking to be packed to the brim, allows snowboarders, allows base ikoners. Alta is the stuff in the back. saw cars parking very close to white pine just to walk up to snowbird

Revy is getting pounded with snow right now. 78cm in the last 48 hours and already 250cm more total than Sunshine/Louise.

Heading there for the weekend and posting here so I actually commit to my first front flip lol. Any tips? Probably try it off a cat track/roller. Will post a vid on monday

lift up the front of your dominant leg ski in the in run, and use that as the catalyst for the rotation. Throw your hands and pop hard as your bring the ski down

This is so true, on a major day with all road parking open snowbird can eat up 1/3 of the Wasatch. For every 10 cars that go up, 3 go to alta. The snake at 6:45 only exists because snowbird is ffa. Back in the day the 6:45 snake was employees waiting to go up on a canyon closure day. They should just get off the Base ikon like alta, but $$

they should get off the ikon entirely and double their pass price to compensate. Maybe then they'd make their money off skiing again and not $40 lunches

The terrain is so sick but doubling their base pass would hurt. I bitched out of Alta-Bird this year because it cost so much and couldn't justify it. What if they doubled their lunch price lmao?

Don't go into Mineral on a rope drop friday (only opens on a weekend, cause you know, marketing) or you won't be out for two hours. Which is one seriously underrated things about Alta. Terrain will open on weekdays way more often than weekends, I'm not sure if its actually patrol work related, or if management chooses to give back to locals.

28 years of life and I now finally understand what Skiers Left vs. Right means lmao. I gotta stop pointing it down everything and also read more signage

Praying big sky and A Basin leave as well

big sky is a corporate entity of boyne. doubt they go. a basin being the sole resort under their ownership gives them a lot of freedom. one thing i thought was hilarious was when a basin left their agreement with the epic pass saying they wanted to be less corporate and then joined the ikon pass which requires resorts to post ads for ikon lol. the top comment was “this feels so much less corporate” lol

I agree with you in principle but ikon holders don't really make the big sky experience worse like other mountains and the town of Big Sky really needs the tourism, they have been struggling the last couple years.

I have landed a lot of hard rail tricks but it's hard not feeling like I suck when I miss 5 tricks in a row lol. IDK how slopestyle skiers do it
