There’s no way purg opens on time lmfao it has been so dry here. Hasn’t snowed yet in Durango, no snow forecasted for the next 2 weeks and hasn’t rained in like a month and purg is supposed to open in 1.5 weeks

purg gets way different weather than durango but yeah its been hot and dry. pretty large storm

coming off the pacific but gonna hit pretty far north. probably gonna be good in montana

As long as they have a rail set up to hike I’ll be happy but yeah I’m not getting my hopes up for Saturday

Thinking about how I went to college riding soul 7s and flylow to leaving with ON3Ps and tall ts.

bruh flylow is kewl

Flylow is core, I strictly wear their leather lobster mitts, I’ve had 2 pairs in the last 5 years and both are still as warm and waterproof as when i got them as long as I use nikwax on them before the season starts

Wind for whistles is unreal. Mango and Brady together is beautiful

Not sure I’d put wind for whistles in that same tier. Cool edit for sure but those other movies put in insane work last year

Once said that you don't need poles to ski and received 8 paragraphs in reply from just one dude

I guess I'm somewhere between 1 and 2 now

2. new england immigrant homies

3. pc homies.

4. cali/texas shitters.

5. pc comp kids.

Number 5 is worse than you think

Nice to see a solo project after a lot of crew stuff at least. Brady did a great job storytelling with the footage of young Jake and there were some heavy tricks in there

louise and sunshine early season parks are usually not worth the effort lol. I'm probably waiting for COP

$50 to hike some features starting tomorrow at sunshine lol. Maybe some chairs will open by December and they can start charging $165

Keep thinking I’m not gonna get to ski again and wild mtn just keeps staying open. My entire forearm is purple from smoking it on a corrugated tube but we ball

I told a bootfitter today that I've been getting bad shin and calf bang. His solution was "you need to practice your turns and stop skiing backseat"

It was a peak boomer racing coach response

The skiing was so good, there were more

chill skiers mixed in which reduced the intensity of the overall movie but Karl and thayne went crazy

I loved this project, vibes were so sick. Only complaint is that some shots had 3 angles and I’ve decided that I’m not into that, 3 is always too many

The shin pain can mean you’re skiing backseat and over stressing that muscle on the front of your shin. I can’t remember the name but the knee stabilizer that skiers build up

He's correct.

You can still get shinbang with properly fitted boots if you're landing backseat or skiing backseat all the time.

I love tweaking the fuck out of my back on a tiny flat rail second day of the season. I feel old

i was learning 2s on to down tubes at the ripe age of 29 lol. i backslapped the fuck out of it one time and hiked right back up to hit it again and this guy was asked ‘how did you just eat that and do it again?’ and i said cause im old and wear pads. he lifted his hoodie to show me his pads and with a grin said me too. weve been hill homies every since (idk if hill homie is a thing but hes someone that when i see him on hill its like weve been friends for years but thats literally the only time i see him lol)

speaking of shin bang... tried my boots on today and they hurt sooo bad. forgot they were like this. and no i don't have a backseat problem. whatever, i will wear them for a couple hours tonight to get used to them.

I got screamed at by some boomer for bombing a mogul run without poles last time I skied at Berkshire East. Like yeah my arms might have been going a little too Sugarbush but let a dude ski

Have been putting off watching it until I’m in the right state of mind but I’ve had like 15 beers tonight and that’s probably a good starting point

Just started buried about the alpine meadows avalanche and so far I’m hooked. I was afraid it might be a little dry when I heard about it but it’s not.
