Yes but the cultural clashes from foreigners (remember, this was at the time of the European dark ages and the Mongol occupation brought plenty of Euro influence) prevented a lot of scientific progress at all. Even if China fractured from within again, there would likely be less technological slow down, much like civil wars you see all through history, where technology actually advanced a lot of the time.

college is sick. Our rowing house is hype, I got to DJ part of a party! Got into the genetics class i wanted, and the rowing’s been great even if it’s just erging rn. Also got a bid from a frat but i’m not gonna join. There’s zero need since we have a house

Tbh it’s a long story and I didn’t want to explain everything, but I can for context. So I was single going into the start of the 2023 school year. I had seen this girl and was like damn she’s just awesome. So not rushing things I started slow walked past her and smiled yk, then the next time same thing but looked over my shoulder and she did the same. Saw her in the cafeteria and gave her a wave and she did this like cute excited wave back. And she was with her friends so I was like next time I see her I’ll ask her out. I never saw her again. My ex was still at the college and well yk, she was my first gf and it still now is hard to like think about her. She loved me so much, but she didn’t love herself and I couldn’t do much for that. Anyways we got back together for a few months but I finally called it quits in April, I just couldn’t keep doing it. And the sad thing is I’m a lot happier on my own. But then I saw my crush in the cafeteria and that hour conversation was just amazing. So any who I’m excited to get back to college this year and see what happens!

I bought a micro traxion for top rope soloing because I really don't have many partners here.

Anyone else rope solo? Wondering if I should get another micro traxion, or switch it up for the secondary device and go with a ropeman 4 or a roll n lock.

I like the idea of having 1 toothed device and 1 not toothed. But it really doesn't matter all too much.

Funnily enough, I'm in the same boat. I kind of want to get it checked out but I don't really know how and where to start so I'll just wait until shit piles up and I completely brake down. Diagnosis is pretty useless but It would give some clarity to why I do and think the way I do(and it would get me out of army).
 
Went on a date a few weeks ago. Girl I’ve been talking to was home from across the country for a lil bit so I took the day off work and drove 3.5 hours to see her and spend the day in a city ive never been to. I’ve had some really good days in my life but man was that one up there. That day was so perfect, so is she. I miss that day so much, in almost a sad way. Hopefully I can have more days like that. I’ll never forget that day. I hope I remember every little detail forever. I probably like her way more than I should. I wish sometimes I could turn my emotions off.

calculus is so important. i use it everyday at work and in my personal life. all my homies love calculus. no one thinks it was a waste of time to learn.

when you get deeper into calc and learn ways it can be used it is really cool. That being said 99.99% of the population will never need it in their careers/lives.

Luckily we’re still in pretty close contact but she’s across the country lol. I’m moving out to where she lives though in a few weeks so let’s hope things keep going as they are.
