We had field day for the majority of fourth grade who didn't get to go on the perfect attendance trip to Six Flags yesterday and I realized how much I missed coaching cross country at my previous school.

The park has an outdoor gym where kids were sitting on the equipment taking a break and asking me a million questions about what muscle groups each machine worked, why their AAU and pop warner coaches made them do certain exercises to warm up, etc. Since they've been working on anatomy and physiology group projects in their science classes a ton of it was lateral knowledge; they knew where and what a hip flexor was just not why their football coach was making them strengthen them. Getting to see them make the connection between their science knowledge and how it would help them become a better athlete was sick, I haven't had that feeling since I left my previous school.

Dude I listen to this podcast called "Last Podcast on the Left" when I'm out running deliveries. They cover history and true crime mostly, would highly recommend.

But anyways, I'm listening to one of their history series on Joeseph Mangla (Nazi scientist- awful dude) and they talk about all of the fucked up stuff he did during the Holocaust.

The episodes are so heavy and depressing that they started slipping in home improvement facts to ease the heaviness of the topic. Dude's were talking about how Mangla experimented on twins and then would just be like:

"Did you know that originally Al's character was supposed to be named 'Greg'?"

Ok now your criticism makes way more sense. To be clear you’re not on a cruise ship. You’re on a cruise ferry. Which is used to ferry passengers and cars between locations. Very very different to a “cruise ship” that’s used for cruise vacations. I still stand by what I said before. Get on a real cruise ship and you’ll have an amazing time. Completely different to what you’re experiencing now.

You are probably right, but people come here for "vacations" for some reason. It's a classic finnish "poor mans vacation" everybody can afford it, but you are also right that trucks are transporting shit trough this, same way It's transporting me and our car.

There is nothing that those real ones could offer me other than maybe better food. It's everything I hate packed together.

People, tight spaces, more people, probably no activities I really like, Freedom is limited.

Fine dining is something I'm not really interested in, maybe It's better with wine.

Restaurants overall are not my favourite thing.

I can see how "normal" people would like those real/big cruises. I'm semi far away from normal though.

Lol loser. Cruise ferries in Scandanavia are lit and nothing like the white trash floating walmarts you get over here.

Shit is 1/2 price of what it costs in Stockholm or Helsinki and it costs less than a night in a hotel.

Hahaha yup. My favorite time on the last cruise i went on for a family reunion was when I got off the ship and just went for runs. The saving grace from the crowds for me is I always get a balcony room so I can exercise outside and read during days at sea.

I also grew up sailing and canoeing so the concept of not being able to chart my own itinerary felt weird.

I have been pondering this as well. I have not had a haircut in like a year and it still looks alright but it looked better when it was shorter. I just can’t commit to a haircut which is stupid as hell but I know I need it. Buzz cut will reveal my stupid hairline which has been receding since I was like 13 fuck hair loss

My situation is the same. My hair will be very thin if I make it to 30 and I don't even want to think about where my hairline will be then.
