Tbh. the migrant issue has brought back the bad of the drug city as it was in the 80 and even 90s. Up until covid the city was pretty damn safe

How do I go about starting/joining a band when I don’t know anyone who plays music? I’ve been writing some songs and I feel like they sound alright but I can only kinda play the piano and I wanna put my words to some instrumentals

Hit up some local open mic nights in your area. You’d be surprised how many people who play instruments go to those.
 
It occurred to me today that when Nick Carter sings Ain’t nothing but a mistake on the Backstreet Boys hit single I want it that way in 1999, he is just ripping off a melody from the 80s pop band Spandau Ballet. But when I went to the internet to share my discovery I found that the YouTube mashup community had figured this out a long time ago.
 
Drank beer with my neighbors and helped build a horseshoe pit with the work crew at their restaurant in Town. Fun day. Happy Colorado Day

I don’t really think the migrants have much to do w it. Since 2020, New York libs have been hyper critical of anything NYPD does so now they just don’t do anything a lot of the time. It’s like a diet situation of what’s going on in San Francisco.

Definitely true. It's a mix of items. I guess all i'm seeing now is stuff about migrants since NYC is housing a ton of them and it's starting to become an issue

Yeah this is pretty much where I’m at. Turns out I have more clips than I thought too so ima leave it out I think. Lacking freeride clips this year but compensating with park clips, should turn out alright.

I live on the adjacent ridge to one of the fires and it’s been so cool being in the flight path of all of tankers, had 6 separate aircraft all directly over my house for most of the day yesterday

Its really cool. But also scary. Locals I work with have been saying its reminiscent of the Troublesome Fires so thats the scary part.
 
Found some interesting results when anodizing aluminum that has brass features. No oxide layer is formed and zinc is removed from the brass kinda giving the part a zinc coating

My dream job is to become an aerial fire fighter pilot, but I just had a thought. Aircraft, especially fire fighting ones, burn a shit ton of fuel and pollute the air a lot, which theoretically increases the warming, in turn helping forest fires start and get big. A beautiful cycle. Like rock paper scissors
