damnit! I can't get up there until the 3rd, it better keep snowing hard until I do. I had an awesome day there last week though, thigh deep in some areas in the trees.
 
id like to see someone beat that.

so far its all blowing up into you guys, simply not just nose deep

Kinda makes me wonder if we're missing something now that we've moved to wider skis. Wider gets you that flotation, but the sinking in part is kinda fun... like those Liberty BFF's, I dunno if you could ever get a faceshot with those no matter how light and deep the snow was.
 
Honestly that seems like it would get old. Im sure it would be amazing for a while but I don't know about spending a whole day in pow that deep
 
Skiing is about that sensation that makes you feel tingles inside; some people get that from sinking in the pow and some get it from floating.

Different strokes for different folks!
 
neck deep seems too much is all Im saying. Seems like waistish would be just... better. ( I suppose I should mention I've never skiied proper fresh, so, i dunno)
 
It really sucks. You can't breathe, and worst of all your face gets wet.

But seriously, I know what you're trying to say. But you're wrong. Stupid deep is really fun, the only bad thing is trying to keep speed up and cutting traverses.
