Post Season Rail Jams?

Did covid kill post-season rail jams??

I live on the east coast and there used to be several big post-season rail jams (Carinthia's peace pipe, Nashoba's last chance on sundance, Wachusett's cinco de may jam, etc.) and now I never see any rail jams after the season has winded down. Pretty sad to see.

Curious what people's thoughts are and if events like these will ever make a comeback.

While admitting it’s all a bit over my head with me being from Atlanta and all. But with internet and social media coverage being a thing now. I say the more events the better. I’d peep all of them ?

We got two summer rail jams coming at you in Pennsylvania! Will be posting details in a couple weeks.

Y’all doing great things for the sport and respect ?

Appreciate it! If anyone knows any connections for potential sponsors. Large or smaller, shoot them my way. Trying to make these rail jams as best we can!

There was one in Stowe a while back that was sick. I went in 2011 just for the day from Montreal and they had a ton of rails. They should bring those back for sure

I'm so bummed about this trend. Hoping something changes and rail jams in general can make a comeback. It feels like Epic/Ikon are only interested in putting on events that are lucrative. Also from what I've heard, they're not really interested in funding parks at their resorts. Maybe the freestyle community is just too niche? Either way, Fuck Vail :)

Wachusett parks kinda went to shit after it got moved off the lift line and now is a four hour ticket or like a zillion dollars for 8hrs. They can get away with it but still it’s an obvious assfucking at this point. Not really a reason not to have the late season jams though.

Rail jams as a whole have been dying for a while now. It's sad, they are my favorite events by far.
