Will be in the history of freeskiing. The JOI was an event all freeskiers looked forward to, not to mention the Kangaroo flip, DJ flip,... what's next?

^That might show a part of YOUR history with freeskiing... we're kinda looking for pictures that people outside your family might be interested in.

^shit. hope this works

As much as we all may resist it, but...

...did inspire a lot of young people and put freeskiing a bit more out there.

did you pay attention to skiing that year at all. its in tbc. he landed the first 9, landed kinda far down the landing and he went back for the second shot 20 minutes later then shit hit the fan.

julien regnier did the same trick(3 mute) and came in 11th place.

imo, he gets too much credit. new canadian air force and all the older crew did a lot more for skiing than him.

when i read the title of the thread the first things that went through my mind were glen plake, seth morrison, and moseley doin the mute 3. they have already been put up, so i will just add my voice of approval.

Julien Regnier did do the same trick, but his run was not replayed over and over national television so anyone who skied and watched the olympic freestyle moguls saw it and wanted to emulate it.

Noone knows a tree fell in the woods, unless people see the tree fall.

I know I saw Moseley's 3 mute in the Olympics, and immediately wanted to learn how to do it. It was definitely a catalyst for myself, (and I'm sure many others) to start freeskiing.

agreed. i had those skis back in the day. actually they were kid version of those skis but they looked the same. haha
