Post a Video of the Gnarliest Inbounds Lines

Has to be inbounds

Give the resort name

Here's a few I could think of to get this going:

Corbett's Couloir at Jackson Hole

Air Jordan at Whistler

Coffin Chute at Whistler

i'll get a good one up here when it finally dumps in the east. ive been scoping a cliff at cannon thats 35 feet. finally gonna drop it this year

I can't post a video as the only one I know of was taken down years ago but Rocket Pocket at Sunshine Village is gnarly as fuck. Definitely more so than Corbett's and Air Jordan.

This is inbounds at Alpine Meadows. If you pause it at 25s, you can see Keyhole meadow and that was Marhankens chute on the left. Pretty rad terrain for sure, although there is definitely gnarlier./images/flash_video_placeholder.png

threads for later. will post some lines iv found in brackett at sugarloaf when we finally get some snow.

this thread has come through huge. my favourite so far was coffin chute as whis. I've been scouting that thing for years, but haven't had the stones or conditions to hit it yet. That guy's whole run seemed like he was going out of his way to find danger hahaha

Good luck finding it - the one of Colin Puskus skiing it that used to be on Biglines.com was taken down years ago. I haven't been able to find it online since.

I just spent like 5 mins looking for it on biglines when i saw this thread title. Good to see others agree. although I guess it's not technically inbounds, it's definitely the gnarliest thing that would be here.

That's the only one I knew of as well. I haven't seen it in a long time. Hasn't been skied a lot lately either, I know Tim Ricci did last year right before he quit but no footage that I know of.

I think it's a bit of a grey area whether Rocket Pocket is inbounds or not but as you enter in an inbounds (albeit restricted) area (near Cream) and exit in another inbounds area (Fat Boy) i'd say it counts as inbounds. Also Luxton's Couloir in the Wild West at Sunshine is a pretty gnarly line, it definitely gets you puckered when you have to commit to the straightline. There's also a line in the Dive called No Way Out that is which is really exposed with a sketchy mandatory drop.

Yeah I don't know why it was taken down but I search for it every year or so and haven't seen a working link in forever. Wasn't it Tim Haggerty that skied it last year before he quit? I've seen a photo of him in it but no vid. I'd quite like to know approximate sizes of the two drops and what that middle landing pad is like.

I'm pretty sure Kevin Hjertaas was filmed skiing it as well but have never come across that footage either.

You're right it was haggerty, I knew it was one of the Tims. I just found some pictures that Dave Williams posted on TGR I'll have em up in a second.

Fuck ya ^

Also, Silver City. Also, at SSV although rarely open it is technically inbounds. Only one line without mandatory airs.

Not a video, but I love riding these!

I don't think Silver City counts anymore as it won't be opening again. I'm so pissed I never got the chance to ski it, especially as one of my best friends did get the chance and never fails to tell me how awesome it was.

Agreed, I'm in the same boat. Let's stop this here, don't need another thread like this and another cease and desist order.

lol, sorry dude, the only time elevator is even mildly entertaining is right now, when it's actually narrow, and death is about the same. wish i had some footage from some forbidden runs about this time last year... you can get sketchy in there real easy.

I've skied Corbet's (claim) and dropping into it scared the piss out of me, but it was awesome skiing. Where that guy landed in the video is like landing on concrete, because everyone lands there. I actually saw stars from the impact and then you have to turn downhill, because if you keep going around to the right you will hit the opposite wall.

The next Chute over skiers right is called S & S. This video makes it look easy, but it is insane. This looks like it was a huge powder day, otherwise dropping into S & S would be suicide.

don't you need patrol's permission to ski S&S? I think I heard that somewhere. such a gnarly entry.

coffin is pretty mellow when its filled in. intimidating at the top but once you drop in you feel confident. its sick when you see tracks airing into from that rock at the top. I would never send that,

Winning line during Wrangle the Chute comp at Kicking Horse was pretty gnar

@1:50

That whole area is known as "Suckers", it's all accessible, there is more to lookers right of where he was skiing.
