We've got 4 rails, 2 of which have permanent jumps, and the other two are able to be moved behind the 4ft jump we built.. Here are a few picturs.

yea my friends got a nasty park working with more to come, hes got a single bar double kink rail that we cut and stole from a building, a downslope rail, and a decent size kicker. il try and get pics up. were working on stealing a c-rail too.

ill post my 40 ft tree gap stepdown in early january. we're just starting it tomorrow, and the jump itself is gonna be 10-12 ft high with a really steep lip.

Grandmaster CT Skiers

Yesterday scientists for Health Canada suggested that, considering the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer, men should take a look at their beer consumption. The theory is that drinking beer makes men turn into women. To test the theory, 100 men were fed 6 pints of beer each within a one hour period. It was then observed that 100% of the men gained weight, talked excessively without making sense, became overly emotional, couldn't drive, failed to think rationally, argued over nothing, and refused to apologize when wrong. No further testing is planned.

if you can weld and have all the stuff it is.

But,

(1) Wood is way cheaper

(2) If you've ever slid a wooden rail you will realize that it's just as fast and sturdy

(3) They are lighter and easier to move around.

(4) Wood is way cheaper.

ive only seen one rail that isnt a 'ride on' .. you gusy shoudl put some distance between the jump and your rails

there all ride ons, expect for that u have to get up 2 inches... no wait,,, there on ride ons

The reason they are all ride on's is because snowboarders were there who couldn't gap the rails. We skiers don't ride on the rails anyway.. So it doesnt really matter if they are ride ons.

to answer your question ^, the top of wood is pvc piping. So, your not sliding wood. Your sliding PVC instead of metal. PVC is really really fast. Obviously it doesnt hold up as good as metal wood, but for $2 for a 10' piece, it's a nice option. The rail i had last year was PVC and it was outside in the weather for 4 months and still works perfect this year. So, pvc slides very nicely.
