i personally can care less about how dope or new my gear is, as long as its big comfortable and somewhat pleasing to the eyes. Ive never spent more than 120 on any article of clothing and the quality is still top notch and i guess it still looks way dope. BUT id like to point out that this setup is soo legit in my books because u have 2 of the best puffys ever created. The code down and the hotplate, off the hook. I was lookin for either of these a while ago to no success. Now all these kids are on oakleys dick every year and none even realize that oakleys outerwear has gone to shit since the hotplate, uniform 2.0, or delta pants, etc. Oakley is making too much easy bank off these kids now. repect wazzucrew, respect.

That is what I was commenting. However, you do have to consider that Oakley used to charge an arm and a leg for anything that was decent. The hotplate is one of the nicest jackets I have ever owned, but you also have to remember that it was $400 when it came out. My biggest complaint with Oakley (though I still wear it and like it for the most part) is the weak material they have started using on the lower and middle line gear. I find the pants rip more easily; the original puffy pants were made out of iron coating or something.

thats true, but these guys are spending almost just as much on something that is waaay not up to par with the older stuff. This shit rips pretty much first day out, feels like u can just gash the material with ur fingernails. Waterproofing has also gone to shit as well. same as features, blah blah blah. Remember that gelanots (? i think thats wat its called) material, outstanding. Oakley is basically selling on their colors or "patterns" now.

thanks for the props man. yeah, i got so lucky i snagged all my stuff for really cheap. i got the hotplate brand new with tags on ebay last year for 100. i almost lost my code down and i was so pissed. it had a tiny hole in the armpit and i sent it in to helly and they said they dont repair down and said they threw it away. i yelled at them for a bit and told them if they dont find my jacket i am driving to the warehouse to find it myself. they finally found it and all was well though. plus i managed to snag the logan for 180... quite the steal considering they tried to sell it for 450.

Aside from the SPKs, that could be the most well rounded overall set up I have ever seen. Every type of ski, two sick suits, gloves, etc. Very nicely done.
