shit, tales from the crypt scared the fuck out of me. I think only the intro did come to think of it, but when you're that young, it doesn't take much.
Hexxus from Ferngully/ he specifically scared me when he was in his sludge state and at the end of the movie/ so much so that we had to give the movie to my aunt/ she still has the VHS
My basement/ I live in it now but when I was a youngin it was unfinished and we had a coal stove which made weird noises/ it was a dark and cold scary place and I didnt like it
This exact thing/ The dancing Chiquita banana/ Anyone who has gone to Stew Lenonards knows this thing/ I cant tell you how deathly afraid of that thing I was/ I have no clue why but she scared the shit out of me
I was really little and it was my first time watching the Simpsons and I didn't realize it was a Halloween special. I was convinced for years after that that was what the Simpsons was a scary TV show and wouldn't watch it.
Also:
I wasn't afraid of phones, Just phoning people. I would make my mom tell me exactly what to say, be terrified I would misdial, and pray for it to go to voicemail. Most of the time my mom would have to phone whoever it was then hand the phone to me after they answered.
is that the movie with the vampire cow that shit's on the windshield? because i remember a scene like that, and it was the best scene out of any movie ever.
Oh my god you hit the nail right on the head with that one. I was terrified of vampires in general because of that episode for years! Makes me feel better i wasn't the only one.
I'm still fucking mortified of Ticks. The first and only time I've ever had a tick on me, one somehow ended up on my fucking scrotum. Removing it was the MOST PAINFUL MOTHERFUCKING THING EVER. Today I found one in my shirt after a hike and freaked out. Because of that incident, ticks are probably the only thing I'm legitimately afraid of.
