POST A PIC OF YOUR RAIL

ya dude it was fun and u missed the sesh. fuckin work eh? but it woulda been hard for u because of the step on predicament. but come winter itll be ill.

my mom just bought a house with a niiice hill in the backyard so for the next month or 2 im concentrating on transforming it into supreme backyard parkage.

i got bored so i made a tiny rail of random shit lying around.

then i was still bored so i covored it in masking tape, and stenciled newschoolers on it. that took like 2 hours

My ghetto but stable on-ramp:

This is where my drop-in meets my platform on the deck. There's a hook-like thing on the ramp, and a holder thing on the platform. It works well. No under supports required, it's pretty strong

Finally, me sliding it to put it in perspective.

Oh, and in case you can't tell, the rail's about 10 feet long.

Pvc pipes. Plywood supports. no 2x4's so it's really light.

It seems to work well (it doesn't fall apart), but it's not quite perfect for 270's. Either i'm just absolute crap at trying (i've never done one before), or i don't have enough speed for ons or offs.

But i'm happy with learning. I'm getting comfy with rails, that's the point of it for me.

this is my twenty footer, without legs.

and i have three 10 footers a 6ft tall a frame launch box. and im building a 8ft tall wall ride.

mmm more to add!

big drop in about 7 ft tall- more permanent (untill i take it down with a sledge hammer)

100_4908.jpg

small drop in- like 3 feet tall but its on top of a 3 ft dirt mound for the small rail. collapsible for urban sesh's (really blurry pic)

100_4908.jpg

10 ft kicker rail (still needs the 2 pieces of pvc and to attach the last 2 legs)

100_4906.jpg

battleship box- pvc, 3 across. 6 in wide (the middle section is on really uneven ground)

can be arranged into

that is sick. you should def try the battle ship set up and put the kicker rail at the end. that would be amazing. nice rails tho

Rail I made last spring, it's split into 2 c-rails at the moment to make it easier to move. Once I find a place to set it up I'll weld them together.

And in case you didn't put two and two together, that rail is 603's.

You go to properties of the pic in your gallery, then copy the link there, then paste between the tags.

At least that's the old way.

Not sure if those worked but that will give you a better idea of the length. I'm pretty sure its around 30ft. I would measure it but I moved to Oregon and was not able to bring it along.

just y'all wait till mine's done... it's gonna be soo steezy

do you think i should make it so that it's slightly on an angle or not though?

oh and in case you dont know, its going to be kind of a wallride of sorts. stall on top, throw in some switch ups, go back down. all it needs is snow!! and maybe you could hit it from the side kinda and slide teh top, 180 out and bonk one of those bigass pieces of wood sticking out.

oh shit and today i went out and got some awesome lights. 50 bucks for 2 basically car headlamps and a stand thats like 6 feet high. awwww yeeeah and they work like a charm. ill get a pic of those bad boys up later though, its now 12 32 and i work at 8tomorrow morning so i better get to sleep.
