Do you have 2 of those now?

I have that one which is finished, 3" single tube. then I'm also building one at my cabin which is a 4" shotgun with a less steep kink that isn't quite finished (it's hard to get materials in a rural area). but I'm really hyped to hit them.

Ya on instagram i saw both and they both look dope AF. My donkey dick is super low to the ground might give it some height like that this summer

thanks, and definitely do that. the one I just built today at my house turned out sharper than i thought, i don't think I've hit a kink that steep before... well, it'll be good to get used to steeper kinks on. I have plans to hit a huge DFD around that steepness, maybe steeper. I better be fricken ready, look out for it on #weldcandywednesday

Jeeeez now we're talkin, some level 1 shit

seriously, Krepela, Boville, and Imlach hit that first one earlier this year. It's in the BBC urban skiing video. Also I saw a 4bi9 instagram post with John Ware standing at the top of it. the lip that's built in the pic is probably leftover from the 4bi9 sesh.

Thanks for the inspiration/help with your triple shotgun! Heres the one that I built:

Super sturdy and fun to ride, about 10ft long so its pretty short but its the longest length of PVC I could get without having to use two pieces. I think I might eventually use bortys old idea of linking up two jibs with some pallets because I still have a decent amount of speed after I slide my rail, and that is without any soap on the drop in or using my special drop in extension. I might make a tutorial for how to make a rail like this if enough people want it.

I have no idea why its sideways.

That is a sick rail, and you are super lucky to have a downhill section like that, you could sesh some crazy dfds on that.

Just built this other little short guy, all out of free stuff, wanted to add it to the collection, also tried a new way of making it by sliding a 1x1 threw the pvc and screwing it in through that

What method do you normally use for attaching your rail to the wood?

On my triple shotgun I bolted the ends down, and then added around 6 screws to each pipe, pretty evenly spread and it holds up great with hardly any wobble.

found a vinyl fence post in a scrap pile, I waxed it and watered it and it slid faster than anything i have tried, I would definitely reccomend it

It was pre bent and i got it from my grandparents construction site cause they didnt need it

Ive seen it for sale though home hardware

i know many of you dont have these on hand, but you can bend pvc very easily depending on the type that it is. they make things called heating blankets and if you heat up pvc enough it will become bendable and you could bend any way you like. ive done it countless times at work. though im not sure how it would work with standard home pvc. might only be electrical pvc but its worth a shot if anyone has done it before

That would be sick. Think of the kink possibilities, or if you were good enough rainbows and c/s rails. that would be so sick. My only problem is that the PVC I can buy near me is not very strong, my triple shotgun cracked after 100 hits or so.

Fuck it. Just front swap from flat to flat

I made a drop rail for my cabin (about a foot of drop), did a front swap and just fucking died because I'm still not that great at sliding unnatural. Sprained my wrist, the 1/2 inch of snow didn't help either. My rails are shotgun rails up there so it's super hard to lock it. I think I'm just going to build a big jump gap to the shorter rail to try some 450 ons and maybe a flip if I inject the heroine.

Ya a big gap to a tiny rail is always fun, I recommend trying a 270 on but try and do different grabs with it, it gets interesting

Fuck haha that gets me sliding unnatural too. I have a tail grab perfect on my left spins now so I could add to that too. 450 tail on in a rail jam would win hands down in most scenarios.
