i can't find a decent pic but i was on the mindbender at west edmonton mall a long time ago, about a week before that guys head hit the pole and got ripped off.

i was also on the new and improved (less decapitative) version a couple of years ago and the brakes broke while i was on it. when they finally got it to stop it was halfway up a loop and i had to sit there for almost 20 minutes waiting for them to fix it. i rode it about three times after that before leaving.

i haven't been on too many rollercoasters, maybe when i move out i'll hit some up.

The only roller coaster I've ever ridden: Batman at Six Flags New England.

Fuck six flags, they threw away my frisbees because there's "no sporting equipment in the park", but they were giving away basketballs for games. They didn't even say sporting equipment was banned on their sign. They charge way too fucking much. It rained (out of their control), but after it stopped they didn't open up for another 2 hours. Too much hype about a company that doesn't give a fuck about the customers.

yes. after riding kingda ka, the rest of your day is ruined because nothing else comes close to it. but its still sick to say you've ridden the tallest fastest coaster on the planet....although that was a while ago there might be something else out now haha.

supeman ride of steel, not the tallest, fastest rollercoaster ever, but its still 221 feet tall and a 77 mph first drop into a misty tunnel get the blood going. plus, its been voted the best rollercoaster in the world for like 5 straight years or something. it got the golden ticket. yeah, im into roller coasters, and i used to play shitloads of rollercoaster tycoon. ive always wanted to ride kingda ka, millenium force, nitro, titan, goliath, and a bunch of others.

what sets it apart from other roller coasters imo, is that it has a hill right after the first drop, which is wayyyy better than a turn then a hill. the 2 helixes are nuts, especially when the g forces push your arms into your stomach. and there is sooooo much more air time (time felt weightless) than any other rollercoaster

let's just say i live 30 minutes away from cedar point (OHIO)

:)

millenium force, top thrill dragster, maverick, wicked twister, magnum, etc etc

Hey heff, where do you live? I have a summer home over at the Catawba Island Club if you know the Port Clinton/Catawba area at all, so I'm about a half hour from Cedar Point too. I used to have a season pass there when I was a lot younger but now I only go like twice a summer. Have you been on the Maverick? That ride is sick.

haha, i think it was the first one i had ever been on. i used to drive past it all the time on my way to sunshine, now i take highway 8 instead (closer). pretty much everything at calaway is sketch haha

canadas wonderland, so damn expensive but that ride is unreal, so smooth and fast. perfect combination of hills and turns
its like poetry hahahaha

Craziest coaster I've ridden was The Voyage at Holiday World, those 90 degree turns are sick.

The Voyage is a hybrid wooden roller coaster, which opened in May 2006 at Holiday World, an amusement park located in Santa Claus, Indiana, USA. A wooden hybrid consists of a steel structure with wood track. The Voyage has a lift hill of 163 feet, followed by drops of 154 feet, 107 feet and 100 feet. It travels underground through tunnels eight times. It is the third longest wooden coaster in the world at 6,442 feet and fourth fastest at 67.4 mph. In addition, The Voyage has the most air time of any wooden roller coaster in the world with 24.2 seconds and features three 90-degree banked turns. The Voyage is also the sixth tallest wooden roller coaster. In 2006, The Voyage won the Best New Ride Award at the Golden Ticket Awards. In 2007, The Voyage was awarded the title of Best Wooden Coaster at the same ceremony.

Some info from wikipedia.

Hands down, THE best wooden coaster I have ever ridden.

cedar point is a costers hevan. I used to go there every summer but havent in a while, take your pick of costers from there and they are nuts

i think one of the sweetest parts about this ride is the fact that you are only held into place by a thing that presses on your lap. you feel so free

ya it seems sketchy though, cause when i was riding i was thinking what would you do if the restraint just released for some reason theres nothing else to hold you in like a seat belt or something. the seats are so comfy though

im going to say that KT-22 was better than any roller coaster i have ever been on

(and i have been on some mad coasters)

the hulk was sick as well as most of the big ones at 6F Magic Mountain

golden ticket rated that best wooden coaster last year.
