I'd like to see a video because i feel like you could just isolate the part of his knee in the gif frame by frame and fake it. Not saying it is fake but it seems like it could easily be faked. Still a sick gif

Thats sick but I think the backflip where the guy does a screamin semen is more stylish. I dont have a link to the video.

On a related note, Delorme's cork 3 tree tap is possibly one of the most stylish tricks ever done. I am aware that it's not a backflip.

I have the most stylish backflip or any other trick for that matter. However, I have ZERO video evidence to support this claim.
 
No, just go relook if you're unsure, it was a sw whackflip. He just shifties it so nasty it looks like another trick.

On topic though, that gif is amazing, and for most stylish backflip grab he sure is up there.
 
Any discussion of the most stylish backflip must include Seth Morrison. Especially some of his in Ski Movie Three.

I don't know, man. LJ did a fluid layed out dub backie in Pretty Good (I think). It's in one of his KOS or JOSS edit. I can't remember.

for real. he does so many little tweaks that are just on point and make lower level tricks look so great
 
Ive been wondering about this ever since I first saw that shot....does he actually tap the tree? because I really dont think he does.
 
pencil-steeze flips right out of old school moguls or aerials? Don't get me wrong, super smooth landings and he makes it look easy, but not a "cool" looking trick in the whole video.

Love the OP, the way his leg whips around when he finally lets go of the grab is sick.
