Disregarding the idiocy of the $million statement. This is the heart of why I didn't like Idea. I saw some good skier skiing in places I could go skiing terrain I could ski. Part of the reason I like ski movies is I can see people skiing things that scare the shit out of me like its nothing.
 
what that anyone can flow like pollard? if that's so why is everyone hucking the shit out of everything they do with a few minor exceptions. no one is as smooth as pollard, so what if he's not competing anymore, his film segments are ALWAYS THE SICKEST segments out of any movie he's been in, not to mention he does flat fives and big lofty rodeo 5's on 130mm underfoot skis
 
im not saying that you can make a ski film with the kind of stuff that pollard does, but i'm saying that someone can make the style of film given the average budget.

It might sound dumb, but whatevs. read the "shoot to thrill" powder magazine. it will blow your mind. there is an article on how Idea is putting a new image on ski films

then one minute you seem to praise the idea crew and the next knock them down a peg or two, what is it, state what your saying CLEARLY for once, and don't contradict yourself once it's said
 
i can't be the only one on NS who likes pickles. i mean, they taste delicious, and are the perfect compliment to a turkey and cheese italian. i mean, whats not to like????
 
ok so no no one can ski like eric pollard because if they could they would and then it wouldnt be as awesome as it is now when everyone was doing it.

oh and of course anyone would be able to make a ski movie like that. if you had those cameras in those places with those skiers and the skills of the editors and all that other stuff (that was all sarcasm)

if any one read the article on powder about idea they would know they only got 62 000 from the sponsors,

i never really thought how much a ski movie would cost but its probably really fucking expensive .

Let's just say I had a bad experience in middle school and took one too many pickles to the face. That juice just stays with you man. I smelled like pickles all day.
