Tahoe and West Slope Sierra forcast from NWS.

"partly cloudy with isolated snowshowers tonight. lows 32-22. Winds gusting to 35 and 50 over the ridges"

It did snow. almost all the way down to the valley flows. Definately did in the foothills.
 
and, this means, what??? maybe we can go snow sking....or maybe Ill wait till next year. Hopefully tahoe can get things straightened out and snow in Jan, not June. hehe
 
it means more for the truckee this summer so you don't ass check every rock int he rapids sections.

Its officially snowed more in JUNE this year than it did in all of those 33 long snowless days back in January.

Still, its wicked bizzare to see snow in June this year...

Last year it snowed like 2 inches on June 2nd, but Last year also had the largest end-season snowpack ever...

This year had the worst all around snowpack ever.. until February and into March.. and then it was all downhill from there.
 
the roadt to the top of blackwood is open now and the bowls below 4th of july chutes have enought to build some jumps or sesh a rail if you have a krew to carry it up...

Its about a quarter mile hike from the road to the bowls, hit me up if anyone wants to go play, I have a shitty old fancooled sled that we can use to tow
