Possibility of my mountain becoming extremely gay

so, i just found out that there is a possibility of a reality tv show being filmed at my mountain (its between us and one other mountain). sounds good right? wrong. it covers the ski patrol aka theyre going to be ultra dicks so they can get enough footage. the reason they even picked my mountain is because it has the most injuries in the country this year apparently. my friends girlfriend tried snowboarding for the first time this past weekend and broke her wrist and when she was in with ski patrol they had a camera crew and were interviewing her...

and yeah, when i find one with a camera crew im starting a high speed pursuit on the slow skiing trail.
 
haha i have a feeling that all the regulars are just gonna start fucking with them and they wont know what to say or something.

yeah probably bad...but could be funny to...
 
i think that'd be pretty funny, think of all the things you could do to piss them off, and get filmed doing it...

 
haha theyll probably like film some really stupid stuff to like

some skier ripping on an empty run and pops a 180

and then theyll go back to it slow it way down and do the little black out everything except the circle of the skier

and comment on how dangerous some people are or something

haha i actually think that show will be hilarious
 
that blows but its awesome at the same time. WHen do you want me to come down and try to utilize my 5 minutes of fame?
 
So basically the show is cops on skis? Wow, thats gonna be TV gold..........

I can understand though why they would pick Blue as a top choice (one of the Pocono Mts I used to ski at b/c it was the closest to Philly) every time I would go there is was like skiing through a mine field. When making your way to Main st, i think, chair lift its like hitting a war zone. But I enjoy the park there from what I remember.
 
when i was racing during college, i remember having a regional (maybe national) at Blue. We were warming up on the mountain and all i can remember is hearing stupid whistles in my ear from the ski patrol. they were mega-dicks that weekend. hope thats not a normal occurrence.
 
ok so here is what you have to do,

make sure a camera is watching, go hit a small jump, roller, ect... hit it pathetically slow and get just a little air, hit the ground, collapse, and scream at the top of your lungs,

"my ankles are broken"

"I got broken ankles"

"ahhhhhhhhh"

then have your friends yell

"he''s got broken ankles"

do it!

 
im amped. my whole shop will show up (we've rolled through blue with a 28 person crew) and just spray as many gapers as humanly possible. seriously, this is gonna be great
 
It is not as cool as you guys might think. It is my home mountain and they are major dicks. I got pulled over last weekend and received a "ticket" for "traveling with excessive speed" when I was the only asshole on the trail besides to patroller... it sucks!!!
 
what do you mean ticket? like you owe the ski hill money. I've never met ski patrol like that around here. Plus whenever ive been chased by one its always been easy to get away. big mountains, easier places to hide.

why wouldnt they do this at a resort with some gnarly terrain and really capture the lifestyle of the propatrol making the mountain safe to use. avi work. skiing exposed lines. that show would be really good. I dont care about patrol yelling at gapers. discovery should do that and drop their oil rig reality show.
 
shit dude if it happens let us know. i am close enough for a drive up there to get on TV. buy a ticket and just fucking evade ski patrol and throw shit at them while they are on the lift and shit...i'm down
 
What the hell is a ski patrol? - like police on the slopes? - Do you get tickets for speeding or what?

No joke ive lived in NJ all my life, its just about getting out on the hill as many times as you can and having parents that will bring you to the mountain when you are young. By the way have any of you NJ skiers skied at Belle mountain way back, i wish that place would open up as a park mountain
 
If this show ever happens, every NSer should converge on PA and try to pull some shit.. it would be hilarious how many steezy kids in bright clothing those patrollers are going to have to run down...
 
this is wat you do wen they are interviewing a patrol guy ski past and wack him right in the back of the legs thne wen they chase you hav a bunch of ppl w/ snowballs or pantball guns or watever you wana do jump out and just ambush them haha
