yeah that's right, our cozy little corner of the state get's dumped on (by snow that is). hopefully this is the beginning of a kick ass season and lots of white stuff (snow that is)

Mountain forecasts are looking good for this coming week. We’re looking at rather high freezing levels today and tomorrow with a strong front moving in on Friday bringing cooler temperatures, wind and lots of precip. The front is expected to carry through on into Monday and there is a possibility that this storm could bring us enough snow that we are LOOKING TOWARD MID TO LATE NEXT WEEK FOR A PARTIAL OPENING OF THE SKI AREA!

We will be sure and keep you posted as this storm moves in.

Here is the official announcement: MT. BAKER WILL BEGIN OPERATION ON THURSDAY NOV. 20th at 9:00 A.M. We received huge amounts of snow this weekend and the ski area looks great! On Thursday, we will be running chairs 1,2,3,5 and 8, and we anticipate being in full normal midweek operation on Friday. With the great mountain forecast calling for even more snow later this week, we anticipate being in FULL OPERATION OUT OF BOTH BASE AREAS FOR THE WEEKEND!

So get ready, and WE'LL SEE YOU ON THE MOUNTAIN!
