Hey, I'm looking for some positive songs, don't care what genre, just need something motivational and happy.

A few good ones:

Where is the Love - Black Eyed Peas

Changes - Tupac

Work it Out - J5

Send me on my Way - Rusted Root

Any songs by Naughty By Nature

Moment of Truth - Gangstarr (probably one of the best hip-hop songs ever imo)

can't think of much now ... De La Soul, etc. ... a lot of oldschool hip-hop like pre-1995

As for other genres... well the usual reggae classics ... some rock, Hendrix, Pixies , Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Offspring ( that made me happy when I was a lil kid yeah) and some SOUL and some FUNK (James Brown, Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield, etc.)
 
Honestly "Christian" music. Most of the modern stuff aren't even blatently saying that you have to love jesus. In fact, 90% of the last Christian genres I said weren't even singing about how sick god is. Most of the songs can be interpreted as just positive.

A bunch of blue scholars songs are positive and upbeat, old school rap is really awesomely happy...

dance music is happy normally, same with some indie/alternative stuff.

If you just listen to "oh I'm thug my life is so hard" music all the time duh you won't find too many happy things.
