today at the hill i ride...my friend and i saw a kid rocking a NS sessions collab...so my friend yells out " YEUUUH NewSchoolers!" and the kid looks at us like we are crazy and shrugs....just got me thinking, why would u wear something that u have no clue on what it means...
 
there are already a million threads about "posers". I don't think anyone should really care. Maybe he didn't hear you properly? Or was intimidated by someone yelling at him? Maybe he didn't know it was directed at him? People should just be able to wear what they want to wear and do what they want to do.
 
thats not judgemental...i just dont get why he would wear that when he has no clue what it means...it just makes you look dumb imo
 
If I saw two goon's yelling "Yeeeaaaah Newschoolers" I would probably look at you like a bunch of dirty immigrants and walk away as well...
 
What if he got it super cheap? What if he won it in a contest? What if he had headphones in and didn't hear what you said? What if he DID hear what you said, but didn't want to be associated with some obnoxious high school kid in 5xl clothes? Thinks to ponder...

You're an idiot. How does wearing a jacket that he doesn't know the purpose of make him a poser? I bet you you've worn snowboarding brands before, you fucking poser. Do you have any idea how many kids rock skate brands and don't even skate? Or Jordans and don't play basketball? I guess everyone's a poser, eh?
 
i know they arnt exclusive to newschoolers...i just feel that if your going to wear it then u should at least heard of it

But why would they even think about it? If I had no clue what ns was and I saw it on a session jacket I would just think that it was part of the line
 
According to your brilliant logic, OP, is everyone on NS who owns a LoHi sweatshirt and doesn't live in the Lower Highlands a poser?
 
so i guess 95% of people who wear snapbacks are also posers, because i bet most people couldn't name 5 people on the team they're reppin.

Why does anyone give a flying fuck what other people wear? Holy fuck, most of NS is more critical about fashion than high school girls.
