i like the idea of having threads for certain styles of shots out here rather than making your own post in the cult. no one ever went in or goes in the cult.
 
i really like that first one a lot. great idea and with some special care in lighting that x-ray film (at least that's what i'm assuming it is) it could be even sweeter. I think if you blended the top edge of the film into the picture more in ps it would look cooler and "morph" the two images more. Also great concept on the throwup one.
 
also agreed on the photo crit cult. communal fail on that one...

there is no photoshopping involved with putting the skull into that shot... it was an actual x-ray that he held up in front of his face

nate most of your lighting looks a bit blown out. Do you have umbrellas or at least diffusers for your flashes? Otherwise there are some sweet shots

i'll admit some of the shots are blown out in certain areas that are white, but according to my histograms the important stuff isn't blown out really. i'm using a 430ex into a reflective umbrella in those shots.
 
its mostly in the first and second shots... the shadows are pretty harsh in places I think thats what made the lighting stand out to me
 
first one is really confusing with the white post going through his white shirt.

second has a really noticeable flash spot blown out on the boat.

other than that, they all look sick!
