Portland maine leagalizes majiuana

the police chief said he's still going to enforce state law so I'm just waiting to see if this makes much of a difference at all.
 
I wish, seems more of a state theme. I think co ca and wash and kind of paving the way. I think once everyone figures out the money to be made just on the smoking end let alone the bi products of the plant it will take off. (Taxing it I meant)
 
yeah...that is gonna be amazing kinda? The police chief will probably enforce when they really need too. But when a kid has a gram they might let him walk away.
 
Fucking asshole cops... You serve the people, the people have spoken by a 70% margin that you need to stfd&stfu.
 
I didn't imply anything of the sort. I just eluded to the fact that I wish cops would learn when and where their efforts are needed/appreciated/warranted.

Furthermore I'd love for someone- anyone- to show me how MJ is all that bad for me in the current playing field of legality. At least prove to me it's at least worse than cigarettes or more dangerous than alcohol (both legal and regulated on a self-policed age based system) if you're going to put me in jail for it.

 
for those who are upset that this practically changes nothing- look at it with a "moving forward" attitude. This is a huge step in the right direction if you ask me.
 
this in my opinion is a huge step for maine. In maine lobster, blueberries, and lumber use to be maine's biggest cash crop but marijuana could very easily topple over the current cash crops. I seriously have not met a single person who doesn't smoke pot in maine at all and maine could really use the tax help from marijuana.
 
I go to portland a few times a year with my family on our way home from ski trips, couldn't utilize this new law but I'm glad people are taking a step in the right direction. People have rights
 
Why stop at the state level, or even federal, he should be enforcing the supreme laws of our heavenly father Jesus Christ.

Lansing is the Capitol of Michigan right? If you ask me that's an even bigger step in the right direction because the state Capitol even legalized it.
