Im moving to Portland Oregon this summer...probably Legasweego (i have no clue how to spell that) school district. Fun stuff? Good school? Whats up in the city? Bored as fuck in Pittsburgh. Please, someone give me some news about Portland. Ive been there once before but was just briefly in the city before ski camp. I need something to look forward to. THANKS.
 
well its oregon, so lots of weed, lots of hipsters, and lots of other oregon things to do
 
well its definitely an upgrade from pittsburgh since you ski. You'll be fine though, less than 2 hours from mt hood. And if your moving to Lake Oswego, which your probably talking about, there's swimming/chillin on the lake in the summer. no worries bro
 
sorry Lake Oswego terrible. i really dont like it there. hard to explain. portland is the best for sure. so many god damn rich stuck up people in lake oswego.
 
yeah.. i have lived in portland or around portland for majorty of my life.. its aswome.. but dont go swimming in the lake in Lake Oswego. and the cops there and west linn SUCK. but besides that AMAZING WEED every where hash as well. great food no sales tax. people pump your gas, great tasting tap water. clean air.. your an hour from the beach and the mtn. summer is awsome and beautiful. if you are one to enjoy contrasts and the changing of the seasons you will enjoy oregon and living in the Willamette valley is a life to itself. pm if you want any more info or a tour when you get in town.
 
P-town is sick. I used to live in LO (now Linn City, yes I had Mr. Kintz) and the place is really nice. The school is actually higher quality than some junior colleges. The lake is sick too if your into boating in the summer. about and hour and a half away from Mt. Hood and Windells.
 
I find it amazing that there are people who are ripping on LO, but at the same time are saying the Westhills are awesome. It's the same shit different surroundings. LO schools are some of the best public schools in the state hands down so you have that going for you. Easy access to downtown and the outlying areas in Portland.
 
LO has good schools, and the lake is the shit in the summer and the river is right there also. The cops are bad in some parts but that is your own fault if you are dumb enough to get them called. As people said earlier beach is an hour away and hood is about an hour and a half away. Pretty nice place to live. Good to get friends who live on the lake so you can go out on there boats.
You may soon learn of a place called Dunthorpe. When people think of rich LO you probably think of this place. It is more of Riverdale school, but sweet fucking jesus. There are some of the nicest houses in the portland metro area there.
Those are my two cents. If you haven't already found out i lived there after moving from China.
Do you parents work for nike by any chance, lot of nike families move to that area
