a friend of mine owned a rs2'ed s6 avant. was pretty neat. I would sooner own a 5 cylinder audi over a 986.

agreed, 993 are not even THAT fun to drive. I care for 996 over 993. 993 all seem to leak oil no matter how bad you try to stop them from leaking.

I would NEVER buy a Porsche. And that coming from a guy who lives in Stuttgart...We have a saying here, that Porsche is for the people trying to look rich, but who are to poor to buy a Ferrari. At least in Germany you wouldnt have any "friends" with it. I would always go with soemthing else (like a corvette or sth, its cheaper and a lot cooler). THat beeing said, I have no clue what the situation is like in the US I guess there aren't that many Porsches driving around there

We can play that game forever, and I think it's silly. I know a really rich guy, he could buy any of the mentioned cars, and what does he drive? An 8 year year old Jaguar X-type. Does a car say anthing about someone's bank account? No it doesn't.

Some people have less or no interest in cars and are satisfied with less.

Hahahaha. More like all air-cooled boxers leak oil no matter how hard you try. How do you check the oil in a flat six? Check to see if its still making a puddle on the ground.
