Poping

im going to be starting off in the park hardcore for the first time this year and im wondering the exact form for poping of kickers.

do i balence my weight under my skis and pull directing up?
 
Stand on the snow with your skis on. Jump as high as you can. Now repeat that as you're about to leave the lip of a jump.
 
its just like doing a straight up jump standing on the ground...but when on skis you might want to pop or jump slightly forward..another tip is to pop when your back binding is at the top of the lip...get smart mogul skiing instructional video...excellent teaching video...
 
honestly, youll know when and what.

you tend to use your heels as a pop point. think about loading your tails a little and using your heels to relieve the pressure created by doing so. First figure out how to hit tables without popping. Just straight airs... with speed.
 
you have to throw your self forward right when you leave the lip, you might feel like you are going headfirst into the landing, but your actually popping a cork.
 
you need help pooping on kickers? LOLZ!

just pop. dont pop backseat though, thats pretty much all you need to know about popping off jumps i guess
 
ok if i were you i wouldnt pop too much off kickers...i have found jumping too much off kickers can make you off balance....so basically pop about half as much as you would do for a rail or box or just a small hop......well that works for me i guess its different for others
