After finally viewing Pop Yer Bottlez I feel rather violated. I feel like I just watched a modern rendition of Birth of a Nation. The only good thing was Rainville's seggy.

i thought rainvilles was the worst with all those flowers and shit. but other than that it was waaaaaaay better than wski, they are defanitly headed in the right direction.

i also like how tanner trashes the article about him punching a bouncer in the face from skiing magazine. that magazine is so shitty.

Pop Yer Bottlez is a movie I would never show to someone who doesnt ski.

Really? Well, people here dont think about skiing like that so much anymore, because hood is a pretty big newschool "center".

But when I watch ski movies with the "ski gangster" stuff in it, my friends always wonder what the hell is going on and ask me "Isnt this supposed to be a ski video?"
 
wow, birth of a nation...brings memories of my development of film class. I didn't know ne one else would have seen that movie in here.
 
How does rap and skiing remind you of birth of a nation.

Birth of a nation was good for the first half of the movie, before it got all the blacks are taking over the townish
 
Yeah, take a snowboard movie, take away the snowboarders the snow and the sound, put it in black and white, add Ku Klux Klansmen riding around on horses and you have Birth of a Nation.
 
it is bad.....very very bad....there are reasons skiers schould not edit/produce their own movie. It makes makes their riding look like shit.

I actually enjoyed it. Althought I enjoyed WSKI more. The skiing was good.

Was dissapointed with Bow Wow and Sean Paul, but other than that...I liked it.
 
I have a great question to for any one that wants to answer it. Why is being Ghetto cool? Did I miss the memo say that we have to act like we live in south central when most if not all of this site is skiing witch by the way is super fucking expensive and living in or near ski towns where ghettos rarely exsit or have any population of race? Can some send me the memo so I can how on this train

when i saw it i had mixed feelings, and i still do! it has wicked skiing and really good filming but thats about it. i love rap but the music was weird as fuck and some of it was over edited! tanner, nice try!
 
there is alot of good skiing in the movie, but it has just as much gay skit footage which recks it. If u wanna see white ppl acting ghetto n carying on like tools then u can watch music videos, it doesnt belong, or atleast that much, in ski movies.

You are the reason the ski industy doesnt grow faster. Have more respect for people doing things with money out of their own pocket. Tanner should get more props than anyone, not only can he make his own movie but the also killed contests and filmed another amazing movie part for tbc, show me another skier that accomplished that much this year

in my opinion pyb sucked big time. the entire theme sucked and the music blew followed by medicore ski footie. pep and tanner had the only good segments. t rain looked like a good section but it was only 1/3 of the screen the whole time with shit all over so i could not really tell.

^ to the support rant guy, i think the only movies that do that are msp and warren miller and i don't think too many newschoolers buy those.
 
You think steve winter doesn't ski? You guys all these people are in it for what they love ok. Tanner and those guys are just in love with themselves and they act it and show it. You think they are "chill" or whatever? cuz no noe gives them shit! get in there face and you won't think they are cool.

I hate to be an ass but anyone that loves skiing would love watching skiing. MSP's videos are great. Good shots and great skiiers. period.
 
Pop Yer Bottlez is not a joke. Tanner and CR own most of the company and that is how they try to portray themselves. The whole C-Crew thing is not a joke either it is tattooed on their forearm. It is a gross representation of the sport of skiing. They just tried to create a shitty rap video. Don't get me wrong the skiing is amazing but the movie is bad for the sport of skiing

PYB was terrible. footage wasnt even that great and the retarted club scenes brought me back to johnny mosley mad trix opening scene
