Pop, soda, coke

not true. i live in indiana and people say coke for a lot of different drinks. any dark soda some people say coke. its weird.

usually call it pop out of habit, but i prefer soda. sounds classier and more oldschool, and not something you do on the lip of a jump to increase airtime and height. and i also prefer to not drink coca cola, so i dont say coke when referring to soda in general.

im usually just more specific.... sprite, coke, mt dew, dr pepper, pepsi, etc... or "drinks", not confusing since im not 21

I am going to try and send the skis soon, but i am really busy until the 21st when i get back from oregon.

What did you think about the tail cut outs?

I grew up in Florida saying soda or coke. Then I moved to Washington and they called it pop. I thought everyone was fucking retarded. It didn't, and still just doesn't sound right.

in new mexico every carbonated drink is referred to as coke. damn texan influance. when i moved to utah i started calling them just "drinks" because i cant get it in my head to say soda

Its soda. Pop as a joke or to make fun of my mom who is from pittsburgh and calls it that. this Coke buisness is nonsense. A coke is a coke

To all that said its soda in Utah, wtf? I've lived here my entire life and always called it pop. Soda is soda water, coke is coke.

I'm sure this has already been covered, but I'll reaffirm the previous statements anyway.
Most of the US calls the sugary fizzy beverages "soda". I learned this the hard way when I went out East for the first time when I was younger. I called it "pop" and I got the "Ohhhh, you're not from around here are you. You must be from the midwest."
It is known as "pop" in the Midwest, but apparently no where else. Someone said not in Wisconsin, but I'd argue that. I've heard it referred to as pop quite often in Wisconsin in several different cities. It's also generally accepted to say pop in Illinois & Iowa.
All soda is "coke" in the south - even Mtn. Dew. I don't know why because it's fucking dumb, but it is what it is.

i drink POP

down in Georgia (say it with a southern drawl) i asked for a "pop" and they said "we dont have pop, but we have coke"

WTF Mountain Dew is NOT COKE NEITHER IS PEPSI, OR ANY OTHER CARBONATED DRINK. coke is coca cola
