Aight, here is my rant,

Poor damn rossignol goes and spends all this money on the 'rider influenced' Scratch... then half their team leaves. What the fuck. They lose Julien, Tanner, Boyd, and maybe more in the future. No doubt armada is sick and poeple should stop bashing it. I am not mad at them for 'stealing' rossi's riders, and i have heard there is some deal between the two (i do not know if this is true), but poeple are shocked becuase it is still such a small industry aND riders don't change companies that much. Philou leaving salomon rustled some feathers, three riders leaving the same company is definetly bigger news. So people need to relax and wait till mid-november when the skis come out and then wait till next june to see a whole season in action till they can start bitching again. This past month has been so fucking stupid with the armada posts and the world of mystery. So i say this post should be the last about armada until mid novemeber or so and we should all just relax and get high and wait for snow.

its not to big of a deal. rossi will get more pros. maybe mcmurray will be head of the team along with rinfret and bushfield. thats just a guess but all these guys are sick. anyways its not hard fr a company to get more pros, its just a change

 
newschool doesn't really bring a lot of flow...racing on the other hand. plus they've already sold thousands of scratches.

The move to this type of rider owned company is exactly what the sport needs and these athletes recognized it. They left because they didn't want to stress about their contract the next year...they always know where they stand. I hope it stays that way. And for the record, philou didn't leave salomon, he was forced. These types of things are exactly why those guys left rossignol to armada.

and there also has to be reason for JP to move as well. thats crazy, he like practically invented the 1080 with douglas. maybe there reallyIS something special about ARMADA, other than the hype...

i dunno i guess it sucks everyone left rossi but that doesent automatically mean the scratchs and the rest of rossis line of skis suck. those guys deisghed them they must be sick. I have been hearing that the armada is basically a rip of the scratch. Rossi will prob keep rinfret and mcmurary as there ams i think and theyll just bring in more hardcore skiers

all the bullshit that i see so much i can't believe grown man just tryin' to be true to myself impossibly i may not ever get rich might wind up diggin' a ditch i won't cry no i won't bitch i wont back down and i'll never quit it is my badge of pride -hardcore 'til the day i die just tryin' to survive i won't back down or apologize
 
The more ski companies, the more sponsored riders, the bigger the sport gets, and the better for everyone.

I think the hype is ridiculous, but I also think that its a wicked idea!

I spoke to the marketing director for rossignol this evening, and I asked him about the whole tanner armada situation. He told me that tanner's contract was up october 1st, and he went and signed on with armada, along with easley and regnier laforgue..He also told me the armada product is really similar to the scratch, almost a copy. He told me bushfield is gonna be the next main guy for rossignol, after beating tanner in the aussie x-games.

Personnaly I like the direction armada is going, being more focused on the riders needs and having a product thats mainly developped by the team. But there's no way the product they have can touch rossi, or a couple other twin tips on the market. These big company have crazy amount of money invested into testing their skis again and again until its perfect. I don't think anyone can match what rossi has out right now, its definitly a step above everyone.

haha for some reason I'd think that Tanner wasnt taking that comp too seriosly if he lost to Bushfield, there is no comparison..but ti doesnt say anything for the quality of the skis though
