Poor boyz productions

they have tyo spend a hell of a lot of money on producing the films so i wouldn't think they make that much cashish, but i havent really got much idea
 
i think they're mainly in it for the love of the sport and filming, and a lot of the profits go towards making the next one better with better gear, sending the athletes to really remote, special places etc. so while they do make money from it, thats not what its all about. thats my opinion anyway.
 
PBP doesnt pay for the athletes to go places, the athlete's sponsors do.

as for profit, I'd imagine not much. Filmmaking isn't something you do for profit. But then again, why want that much profit? personally if I made a shitload of money doing some other job, I'd just spend it on cameras and ski shit, but with ski filmmaking, that shit is already supplied, so you really don't need money.

or at least thats my view on it.
 
taking it on a more serious approach, you think theres 100000 members on NS, making up the majority of skiing fanatics who would buy a skiing dvd. then think that maybe around a third or more of those people would buy it, and not all of them from a store brand new. so if you think about that, and take a guess at how much profit there is in a single dvd, there you go. i have no idea what the profit would be though.
