Poor boyz premier SLC

i liked the PBP movie better, but the vibes at the premiere were a lot more mellow.at Level 1, everyone was hyped up, which was way rad

Im sorry, but if you think EDIAS is better than refresh, you are probably mentally handicapped.

saw most of refresh and so far so hood but i had to leave early near the end of refresh. just preordered it last night though. how did edias compare to refresh? in relation to amounts of which kind of skiing like park pow urban and overall movie

I was at both premiers and Level 1 / 4bi9 KILLED Poorboys. The skiing was just better in L1. Everday is Saturday seemed like it was mostly 360s off cliffs (aside from a few urban scenes...), which is way cool, but doesn't compare to L1/4bi9. REFRESH = killlllleeeerrrrrrrrr mooovvviiiiieeeee.

refresh killed it in the park and urban, i hand it to them there. that was insanebut i'm a big mountain skier, and PBP actually had real big mountain shots.level 1's 'big mountain' shots weren't big mountain.
i liked both movies.

hmm...

I dont know, i have to say the Haines segment in Refresh pretty much held it down in the big mountain aspect, not to mention chamonix.

Anyways, i heard that Refresh blew EDIAS out of the water, film and premier.

the murray theater on thursday was straight up wild.

okay, word, the Haines segment was super big mountain for a park rat movie. and i'm glad they threw that in there, it was sick to see.but i have skied gnarlier shit for competitions in the US. that, in my opinion, was not a real big mountain segment.don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that every ski movie needs real big mountain skiing, because they don't. but i found that appealing about EDIAS. both movies had their attributes that i enjoyed over the other. it was a nice mixup to go to both premieres

looked like the venues at Crystal were gnarlier.
but perhaps it was just due to the angle, who knows.i just don't think the big mountain shots in Refresh were outstanding.although Chamonix was pretty epic

I don't doubt you can shred or whatnot but really i doubt you skied harder lines than some of the Hainies shit? Most of the cliffs Wiley hit in his segment were mind blowing , I take quality over quanity id waaay rather see rainville or wiley use style and park tricks on 45 foot cliffs than ugly 3's off 70 ft cliff yea the cliffs are bigger and scarier but does that make it sicker?
Refresh was the best movie i have seen since TBC , it was perfect in terms of flow, skiing , music etc... no question B dog makes me want to quit skiing that segment was FIREEE

fair enough, some of those cliffs were incredible, and i love to see park tricks incorporated into the backcountry. and rainvilles seggie blew my mind. but big mountain, by definition while competing, isn't only what you can throw down off of cliffs. it's everything incorporated in your skiing- line choice, style, technique, etc.and haines, yea, it was sick. but a lot of the lines that i remember seeing were simple down the middle. granted, it was rad, but nothing compared to other big mountain segments

i see what your saying but they had flow and charged the whole way down no stopping.comps they may get gnarlier and shit but the stop above cliffs and do like 8 jump turns then hit a shoot into a double stager rather then b lining the double stager and doing a dope as flip...id rather watch rainville style and smooth run over a million jump turns and some crazy huge cliffs.and its a movie so the whole point is to appeal to the audience and i think about all of NS would rather watch rainvilles shit

arguing about opinion is ridiculous..

although i agree refresh was better...everyday is a saturday had it's points but segments like the nike 6.0 trip made me want to bash my head against a wall.

some of the spines wiley was skiing? there is no way... the crystal venue wasnt that burly, none of the tour stops were even close to the steepness and tech level that the haines segment had. FAIL.

I felt bad, cause THall was there and nobody was cheering for him during the movie. Did anyone else feel like that? Maybe its cause I attend most of the snowboarding movie premiers-- and it might be different, but usually when one of the pros is in the audience, people show respect by cheering for him during his section. Or maybe it was just a quiet crowd that night..
