Poop in your Boots

We'll now that I have your attention, what ski boots are best for preventing calf and shin bang, BUT also are a tad wider in the toebox/ankle area. I have some of last years 1080's as of right now. I think I may be getting shin bang because the cuff is too low on my shin, therefore putting more pressure on it. Do they make specialty cuffs for boots?

i have the krypton rampage and they are soo comfotrable, i never get bad shin bang in them, and they have a custom fot to your foot.

i have this years 1080s and i only got shin bang the first day i rode em..but the salomon performa series didnt give me any shin bang as i remember and they are wider then the 1080s.

the best boots would be the nordica beasts 12s. They come with a booster strap that flex with you eliminating shin bang plus they are nice and wide. I have them and am yet to get shin banged. Plus i got some of last years for only 300 new

the rossi softs fucking blow. worst boot ive ever tried on in my life. they have the most unnatural flex ever. its like flex flex, flex STOP!!!. theres no progressiveness to um. they kill your legs, and ski like dog turds.

any dalbello boot, but the toeboxes are fairly compact. however they can be blow out. the kryptons have very high cuffs for that reason exactly.

low cuff = more shin bang....makes sense to me. your bending your shin with the low cuff. higher cuff = less shin bang ( i hope)

It makes sense to me too, I tried on the kryptons and they were dope cause they have a higher cufff, but the damn things are a tid bit too narrow for my feet.

i've heard that shin bang isn't actually caused my banging your shins. It's from little micro tears in the muscle that connects your muscle to your bone, and you get it from leaning back and skiing in the back seat too much!?!

if you poop in your boots, that gets rid of shin bang, just accumulate it around the tounge of the boot and step in and enjoy

that dane cook is a silly son of a b...

sorry to use harsh letters

no but i know what you mean, i get mad shin bang and my foots abnormally wide, ive been tryin to find some good boots

GO TO A BOOTFITTER. Are you getting shin bang because you have a skinny calf? Try on a load of boots to see what fits your calf and heel best, then get the toebox punched out if you need the width there. Booster straps will help too. Try and find the Head Mojo boot - it fits narrow through the calf and heel but had a wider toebox. It's pretty stiff though, you'd need to have the weight and power to ski it.
