POLO: The Next Big Fad in Skiing

Alright whatever man, I'm a fucking dumbass, your opinion is about as valuable to me as the stuff that comes out of my neighbour's dog's ass.

So Bode skis Slalom instead of GS, my bad.

My point still stands, Spyder put webs on their suits because they look good not for practicality..

but the spyder webs doesn´t limit the suit functionality, and It´s easier to remember the brand if you see one of those.

you're a dumbfuck, ive even seen a 12 year old with a tucked in hoody who looked like a huge gaper doing spins on rails. didnt make the tricks look any shittier just cause he looked goofy

I agree. However, I saw all 36 posts you made in the Causwell thread and I noticed that you emailed and called them, some times more than once a day, about the status of your order. According to you, you were so impatient, that you finally drove to the office to get your shit. So, you championing the soul skiing movement is a tad ridiculous as it's clear that how you look is very important to you.
To the thread: How in the world have you missed the masses in polos over the last 2 or 3 seasons? Shit...I remember Durtschi wearing a tall polo in Enjoy! Polos weren't ever cool in my book, but snow gangsters have been rocking polos for years. Next big thing?

your argument became invalid as soon as you used this term.

....you lonely bastard

Damn. You really got me there on making a thread about a company that I support that is launching their first full line of outerwear this year. I was just helping to inform and share info with other buyers of causwell. So please go fuck yourself, Kota.

Whether it's a new company or not, that doesn't change anything. And I'm not saying its a bad thing to want to be in style and stuff, I just thought it was a bit ironic that you've been ripping everyone a new asshole just because they like independent companies (saga, Jiberish, First Drop) and they support them, when you are doing the same thing with Causwell.
No hate involved here, so please keep your often homosexually-based attacks to yourself.

I don't recall "ripping everyone a new asshole" for brands they like. Maybe douchebags who brag about their stuff to other people. Yeah, I get it. You got the latest and greatest saga/first drop/ jiberish clothing. No need rub it in to other peoples faces that don't care.

Good to know you monitor my posts. I like that feeling.

haha i definitely agree with you on the "look how much saga i have" people.
Style is important in all sports, but once style gets in the way of skiing, its ridiculous.
Like if a kid bought three new pieces of Jiberish instead of buying a bus pass...

Go peep the jiberish thread for some lulz. kids blowing 400 bucks on 7 pieces of jiberish. But hey, Whatever floats their boat.

Oh cool. You posted a link of a picture that I am proud of my self for attempting a trick like that in my first serious season of skiing park. Nice attempted call-out, bro.

saying that skiing is about fun and not about how you look is so hot right now. surrrriously guize, hop on the bandwagon.

Theron you clearly dont care at all about how you look...

Dude, seriously stop. Why are you trying to run away from the fact that you clearly care alot about how you look when you ski? You are digging yourself deeper and deeper. Why do you try to pass the fact that you care about how you look off as a case of supporting a new company? Are you saying that you bought that outerwear only to support Causwell, not because you liked the way it looked, and would make you look? There's nothing wrong with caring about how you look. The contradiction you are representing in this thread is truly mind boggling, just try and think before you post the next time. And before you start ranting, you must understand that your thread about Causwell and the photos on your profile make it a clear fact that you care alot about how you look. Please don't try and offer some weird explanation as to the opposite.

Obviously I do care some what about how I look. I'm not going to buy from a company if their products look like shit. But I don't let looking good overpower and overall effect my skiing. That seems the case with people now a days. I guess for most people in this thread, How you look > Skiing ability.

Well that's a coherent and well thought out argument, should have started with that, no hate. I agree with you, i care about how i look, but riding with my friends will always be heaps more important.

The holier-than-thou, "I remember the good ol' days" attitude that some people carry around here as a response to trends is bullshit.

For one thing, those days never left--they happen every time someone stops caring about the extraneous stuff like outerwear, money, post count, being cool, and just goes skiing.

For another, the attitude itself holds (a non-existent) history over others' heads, which means that the person professing it cares about being cooler by telling everyone else the supposed solution, which means that they aren't even following their own advice of ignoring the idiocy.

Sorry. Just realized my comment was a bitch douchey. What I meant to say is that people sometimes care too much on how they look instead of their skiing.

We KNOW what you were saying...the problem is that you, personally, are in no position to judge and/or condemn those people as you're posts and pics clearly point to the fact that you ARE that person. In the Causwell thread, you admit to basically harassing them about your order. Just stop. No one would be calling you out if your original post in this thread wasn't a transparent, desperate attempt to express your superiority. You don't need to profess deep and profound truths about skiing...just go ski and keep quiet a while. NS doesn't need your opinion on every topic.

Harassing? I don't think I was harassing them at the slightest. I was just eager and excitied to get my outerwear that me along with many others. Nothing wrong with being eager and curious to see what was up. I was just helping to inform some people on here that also ordered their stuff what was up with the the rediculous delay thanks to U.S. Customs. Not many people knew what was up. I'm sure I wasn't the only person curious to know what was up.

Your ability to filter out reality, and to justify your behavior in any/all circumstances is remarkable and borderline pathological. Interesting. Are you an only child?
Are you honestly attempting to convince me that you were acting in the interest of the greater good? And yes...daily emails, phonecalls, etc. border on harassment. No company is obligated to provide you with daily updates...you sound incredibly entitled. How can you not see that you're "eagerness" and "curiosity" betrays the fact that image, appearance, or whatever you want to call it, is clearly important to you? Your helmet is littered with stickers from all sorts of brands you wanna associate with, you bothered to pre-order the latest gear...and on and on. There's nothing inherently wrong with being style/fashion conscious...nothing. But, when you come in a thread and start throwing around comments like yours, don't be offended when people call you out for what is a clear example of the pot calling the kettle black. Don't get knee-jerk defensive or mad...read what I wrote, look at what you've written, and take an honest look at your motives.
I swear that I don't make any sort of conscious effort to single you or your posts out, but you post so prolifically that it's impossible to avoid it...there's a common thread of hypocrisy in many of them. I particularly enjoyed your assertion that some Black Ops playing kid, "take his black ops conversation out of the awful NSG"....wow.
This is the last time I will ever address you or your posts, but I wanted to let you know that you're obnoxious and that you play WAY too big a role on NS, yet you contribute very little in the way of substance. Take a deep breath, understand that it's not a worthwhile goal to be NS-famous/notorious, and just do less. Like, way less.
