Yo no offense bro...I am going to assume you have never skied at Pollard's home mountains.
I have. Being out there, changes your perspective a bit. Its powder heaven. We had 800 plus inches there. Parks were buried, and kids were gobbling up pow so much.
At Mt. Hood last season, especially in January and February, you could ski pow almost every day 9 am to 10 pm if you had the time and money.
You go to meadows all day and then to ski bowl at night. It is nothing like the east coast or even other places out west. 859 inches of snow dude.. totally sick..
Three park crew skiers at Timberline, rocking hell bents on the job and in the park.Because sooo much pow. Pow landings, pow takeoffs, pow everything. pow heaven.
So please understand that having that much snow must have an effect on Pollard's style. Why would he be in the park (and i know he is in the park sometimes) when he can be hitting huge back country booters, dropping cliffs and shredding gnar gnar pow lines switch on his uber sick hellbents.
I think that's why people don't understand Pollard sometimes in terms of what he skis. Its because you don't understand his environment either. And I never did till I moved out there and experienced it for myself. It blows the east coast away in so many ways.
