Pollards are pretty fat for an eastcoast ski. Line typically make's their powder ski with a waist a bit slimmer than the norm, but this is just the way the ski is designed. The pollard has an 86 waist, this is really beefy especially if you are just crusing an eastcoast mountain. The pollard is a big beast of a ski.
The Skogen is a good length for someone of your size. The Skogen's come in a 78mm waist which is still fine for the occasional powder. It is a much more managable ski for all-mountain and with a skinnier waist, and a bit more sidecut it will carve a bit better on groomed stuff.
Its your call though, how good are you at park?
