I saw this one Facebook. Stoked, because I really like what he's done and what he represents in the sport.

Also, if I'm reading this right, congrats to you on skiing again as well.

There's the pic I had seen on FB. Super stoked. Pollard and Hoji, the two Eric's are hands down my fave skiers. Both contributing to my massive love for ski building. When this video came out, I knew I HAD to get into building, and hell, I'm glad I did.

Thanks for being a big inspiration EP!

the dude is one of the most important people in the last 15-20 years of skiing's history, at least in my opinion he belongs right up there with shane. really hoping that he makes a full recovery and that if he doesn't, he always finds a comfortable place in the ski industry

what movie was that footy from? I remember his part in whatever it was as one of my favorite parts of all time. so many shots are ingrained in my head, and I remember the song (soul meets body by death cab for cutie) but not the film it was from.

It's shots from a couple different movies, it was his helly hanson self edit that year.

The part your talking about was from Push. That and his from Happy Happy were definitely some of my favourite segs of all time. Also so stoked he's back on skis. Super impressive he's getting over the injury already, that shit was rough!

Yeah buddy, I couldn't agree more! Hoji and Pollard are by far my two biggest inspirations. Also this should here. Great tunes, and pure style! Doesn't get better than this:

Can't wait to see him back on the slay with nimbus

I'm just glad he's ok.

nothing would be more frustrating than a career ending injury that was made worse because of poor medical care. Theres nothing you could do about it,

seriously. his style makes it seem like he was skiing since he was in the womb. so effortless

I noticed he was on a snowboard for two shots in the edit. While I'd love to see Eric riding skis until the grave, I'd be ok with seeing him on a snowboard as well. Especially if it's in some way easier on his leg. He looks like he can crush it just as hard in that segment, so why not?

But if he's safe to fry the french, then get out there and kill it!

double post but i also think it would add some good variety in the nimbus edits/movies. i like seeing both skiing and boarding in edits.

That ESPN article shed some light on his recovery, so suggest you click on the link and read it. I, for one, had no idea that he was close to losing his leg to amputation, at one point. Yikes!! Also, he will deal with partial paralysis of his foot for the rest of his life. ++vibes your way EP

Shit, that's right. It's been awhile since I've seen it. I need to re-watch one of these nights...

Get my fix of tired eyes to.

"This winter, Pollard and Benchetler plan to film for a multi-year

project starting in January. They'll be spending much of the winter

filming and skiing in Japan."

that is the best news I could have heard. Love everything Nimbus is doing; plus En Route Hokkaido was the best skiing I've ever seen. Couldn't be happier.

Side note: I fractured my pelvis the same day he went down. He's definitely and inspiration
