i hear that pollard fell down an 80 foot crevace yesterday night and sustained a back injury. Appearntly they got him out a like 11:30. anyone know how credible this is or if it even happened?
i heard about the guy on the news and they said he was a 19 year old local and he was skiing above the palmer chair (which means that he would have hiked there)When i heard it ,i thought that it could be him because he fits the description . But they never released the name. So right now its all hear say
You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?
on the sat. the 11th i saw pollard getting off the palmer chair and goin over to the left towards the huge canyon. I thought there may have been a jump but i didnt follow. That sucks ass it was him though. I dont know about anybody else but when they talked about it on the news i thought it was him. Does anybody know how long he will be out.
damn, now that ive seen the report i can believe it. thats really bad. at least it happened later in the season but he did a bunch of good stuff last summer. well have to see.

Incase you hear something about Eric Pollard falling into a Crevasse its half true, but not really. Eric Pollard hiked out into a big wide open canyon in the backcountry a few days ago to build a jump on the edge of a cliff and hit it with some snowboarder friends. On his 4th hit, he landed on his feet but then fell on his side and SLID 80 feet or so at which point he stopped laid on his back and waited to be sledded out. X rays showed two fractured vertebrae in his back = he can walk around fine but can't ski for 8 weeks, doctors said there is no long term damage.
So I guess this is sorta good news, no permanent damager and he will be back in 2 months.
